Sabah - Turkey is seen as an exciting market for US businessmen, and many US companies are willing to enter the country, according to US Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy and Business Affairs, Jose W. Fernandez , who attended the “Turkish-US Economic and Commercial Cooperation Meeting” organized by the Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON).
Speaking at the meeting, Fernandez had mentioned that Turkey could attract investments reaching 1 billion USD from US pharmaceutical companies by improving legislation concerning biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. He noted that the world “applauds Turkey’s economic improvement” and that the country has “become a crucial financial factor.”

Landscape - rural areas' added value to society
Rural areas comprise vast and diverse territories that have remained free of construction activities. Combined, these form the overall landscape. Regional land-use plans must address all aspects of open spaces in rural areas in a delicate manner. Such plans should be consistent with the policy set at the national, district, and regional levels on protecting open areas, as well as implement development patterns that suit their variety of features. Protecting the landscape's makeup is ever more important in light of the accelerated rate of urbanization. This process requires rural areas to expand in a way that is sustainable, while at the same time serves to preserve, enrich and enhance the areas' quality, and ultimately generate a rural landscape that is of high quality for society as a whole.
Sustainable agriculture - a leading element in rural area development
Agriculture, which over different periods of settlement has experienced substantial shifts, continues and is even required to enhance the importance of rural areas today. Precisely because of such changes, all land-use plans should lead to development trends that alleviate stress and reduce competition while encouraging synergy between agriculture and the various development-related elements. These elements can potentially bolster rural areas and communities. Plans must foster advancement in social-, economic- and environmental-related fields in way that allows agriculture to continue and even expand, renew and reassert its role as a growth-leading, opportunity-generating force that acts in synergy with relevant fields of development. Regional plans are required to encourage the development of sustainable agriculture, which eventually will lead to the production of healthier, better quality food. Such agriculture will also allow greater economic benefit along with improvements for the environment and the general public, and will enable the concept of agriculture to become an integral part of society's efforts to achieve sustainable development.

Source text - English What is Sarcoidosis? Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that can affect almost any organ in the body. It causes heightened immunity, which means that a person’s immune system, which normally protects the body from infection and disease, overreacts, resulting in damage to the body’s own tissues. The classic feature of sarcoidosis is the formation of granulomas, microscopic clumps of inflammatory cells that group together (and look like granules, hence the name). When too many of these clumps form in an organ they can interfere with how that organ functions.
In people in the United States, sarcoidosis most commonly targets the lungs and lymph nodes, but the disease can and usually does affect others organs, too, including (but not limited to) the skin, eyes, liver, salivary glands, sinuses, kidneys, heart, the muscles and bones, and the brain and nervous system.
What Causes Sarcoidosis? No one knows exactly what causes sarcoidosis, but it is probably due to a combination of factors. Some research suggests that bacteria, viruses or chemicals might trigger the disease. Although such triggers might not bother most people, it is possible that in someone with the right genetic predisposition they provoke the immune system to develop the inflammation associated with sarcoidosis.
The fact that a person is more likely to develop the disease if someone in his or her close family has the disease strongly suggests that genetics plays a role. Researchers have not discovered the genes for sarcoidosis yet, but it seems likely that more than one gene is involved.

Source text - Arabic في صباح يوم الثلاثاء الموافق (15/02/2011) بدأ نقل حوالي 12,000 طن من التفاح من معبر القنيطرة في الجولان إلى سوريا، من مزارعي التفاح الدروز في الجولان. الحملة الخاصة جاءت نتيجة لمبادرة وزارة الزراعة وتطوير القرية، التي بدأت قبل 7 سنوات بسبب فائض التفاح في إسرائيل، وتتواصل من سنة إلى أخرى كتقليد خاص، وكإطار يساعد مزارعي التفاح الدروز في الجولان على بيع منتجاتهم. حملة تصدير التفاح انطلقت بمصادقة حكومة إسرائيل، ويشترك فيها أيضاً مجلس النباتات، جيش الدفاع الإسرائيلي ومنظمة الصليب الأحمر.
Translation - Hebrew בבוקר יום שלישי (15-02-11) החלה העברה של כ-12000 טון תפוחים ממגדלי התפוחים הדרוזים ברמת הגולן דרך מעבר קוניטרה לתוך שטח סוריה. מבצע מיוחד זה בא בעקבות יוזמה של משרד החקלאות ופיתוח הכפר. המבצע החל לפני 7 שנים עקב הצטברות עודפי תפוחים בישראל, ונמשך מדי שנה כמסורת מיוחדת, וכמסגרת המסייעת לחקלאי רמת הגולן הדרוזים למכור את תוצרתם. מבצע ייצוא התפוחים יצא לפועל באישורה של ממשלת ישראל, ושותפים בו מועצת הצמחים, צה"ל וארגון הצלב האדום.

I have been translating from English and Arabic to Hebrew, and from Hebrew to English for more than twelve years now. I also completed several professional translation courses recognized by Israeli universities, and worked as an in-house translator for one of the largest translation companies in IL. In addition, I completed many projects as a freelancer for some of the biggest names in the industry.
On 2018 I received my MD, summa cum laude, from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology - Rappaport Faculty of Medicine. I also hold a BSc in Medical Studies, summa cum laude, from the Technion. On 2019 I completed a Good Clinical Practice (GCP) - Clinical Trials Investigator Course at Haifa University.
My main fields of interest nowadays include pharmaceuticals, healthcare and medical devices. I also work in other fields which I find interesting - like marketing, legal, IT and high-tech solutions. My priorities are punctuality and full customer satisfaction.
