Source text - English Using Calculator
You can use Calculator to perform simple calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Calculator also offers the advanced capabilities of a programming, scientific, and statistical calculator.
You can perform calculations by clicking the calculator buttons, or you can type calculations by using your keyboard. You can also use the numeric keypad to type numbers and operators by pressing Num Lock. For more information about using the keyboard with Calculator, see Keyboard shortcuts.
Calculator window
Click to open Calculator.
Click the View menu, and then click the mode that you want.
When you switch modes, the current calculation is cleared. Calculation history and numbers stored by the memory keys are retained.
Click the calculator keys to perform the calculation you want.
Using Scientific mode
Click the View menu, and then click Scientific.
Click the calculator keys to perform the calculation you want.
To access inverse functions, click the Inv key.
Notes
In Scientific mode, Calculator is precise to 32 significant digits.
Calculator honors operator precedence when calculating in Scientific mode.
Using Programmer mode
Click the View menu, and then click Programmer.
Click the calculator keys to perform the calculation you want.
Notes
In Programmer mode, Calculator is precise up to 64 bits, depending on the word size that you've selected.
Calculator honors operator precedence when calculating in Programmer mode.
Programmer mode is an integer only mode. Decimal portions are discarded.
Using Statistics mode
When you use Statistics mode, you can enter the data that you want to calculate statistics for and then perform the calculations. When you enter the data, it's displayed in the history area and the number of values you have entered is displayed in the calculation area.
Click the View menu, and then click Statistics.
Type or click your first piece of data, and then click Add to add the data to the dataset.
Click the button for the statistical calculation you want to perform:

Using calculation history
Calculation history keeps track of all the calculations that Calculator performs in a session and is available in Standard and Scientific modes. You can change the values in the calculations in your history. While you're editing the calculation history, the result of the selected calculation is displayed in the result area.
Click the View menu, and then click History.
Double-click the calculation that you want to edit.
Enter the new values that you want to calculate, and then press Enter.
Note
Calculation history is kept separately for Standard and Scientific modes. The history that's displayed depends on the mode that you're using.
Convert values from one unit of measurement to another
You can use Calculator to perform conversions for different units of measure.
Click the View menu, and then click Unit conversion.
Under Select the type of unit you want to convert, click the three lists to select the types of units you want to convert, and then, in the From box, enter the value that you want to convert.
Calculate dates
You can use Calculator to calculate the difference between two dates or to add or subtract days from a specified date.
Click the View menu, and then click Date calculation.
Under Select the date calculation you want, click the list and select the type of calculation that you want to perform.
Enter the information, and then click Calculate.

Source text - English As per our national estimates, 26 percent of the population in India lives in poverty. Applying the World Bank standard, this figure goes up to around 35 percent. These figures are quite high considering the huge population of India. This brings us to the question – what are the main causes of poverty in India? During the colonial rule, the British suppressed local Indian handicrafts and industries. This led to a low economic growth and spread poverty in India. The slow economic growth in combination with scarcity of jobs and population explosion in India further worsened the poverty situation. Post independence, the green revolution and the industrial revolution created many job opportunities in India. However, these were not enough to provide employment to all job seekers. Thus, unemployment also contribution to poverty in India.

Myself Smruti Patel, a Computer Engineer (B.E.) language enthusiast. School study entirely in Gujarati Medium, that makes my Gujarati word-power strong. My motto is to provide simple Gujarati translations that can be easily understood by consumers. I believe in translation by meaning or by context, but not by the words.
I have been freelancing English to Gujarati (and vice-a-verse) Translations for the full-time. Having prior background from Computer Engineering, I am well proficient with computer terminology and can deal with technology translations greatly. Along with this, I also explore fields like, Medical Translations, Pharmaceutical Translations, ERP, Mobile, Web Applications, E-Learning Materials, Social Science, Marketing, Publishing and other General Category Translations. My folio will not be limited to these categories though!
My Translation speed remains 250 words an hour, which makes it 2000 Words per day assuming 8 hours of work per day.
Having background from Computer Engineering, I can easily deal with any kind of Technology, Tools used for Translation. e.g. Trados, Word, Microsoft LocStudio, Acrobat, Lokalize, kBabel, gtranslator, poedit, etc. and anything else that is required to be used for translations.
Translating stuff for Freelancing is not just what I do, I also do translations for Free as part of my contributions to the Open Source Software Translations, where volunteers gather and work for a noble cause.
