...Since October 2009, the Ontario Government has been actively promoting rooftop installations of solar panels on industrial buildings, for its green energy initiatives. Numerous major corporations (IKEA, Loblaws, HomeDepot) have already been involved, doing press release about their decision to utilize corporate building rooftops for solar panel projects.

In the case of Hyundai, we believe that an image of environmentally friendly company plays profound part in your corporate image, so we wish to be able to start Solar PV projects on your company building’s rooftops. We at Solartek would like a long term lease on the rooftops, and will take care of everything from installations to maintenance of the afore-mentioned project.

And if Hyundai Canada were to actively recommend our Solar PV rooftop projects to its dealerships, more customers would receive Hyundai cars as being eco-friendly, resulting in a win-win situation for both parties involved.

To conclude, we’ve attached the Hyundai Canada building’s rooftop lease conditions, and the profile of Solartek who’s behind this project procurement.

I hope to discuss more about this project with you in the near future, and build a mutually beneficial relation.

Q. 01 What is so different with Hongik Art?

Hongik Art is an academic, conversation based art.

Infants: With lesson program and instructors that makes use of robust theories, we aim towards providing art activities that develops both creativity and various senses of the child, instead of just being fun/play based.

Child: They will be taught authentic academy Fine Arts, and not the play art form of teaching that non-professionals teach. The following steps are taken where the child takes in the teaching material and generate ideas (think), transfer those ideas onto the sketch book (express), and finally present the finished drawing to the teacher and parent (review). Through this Inspiration-Expression-Critic system, Hongik Art clearly distinguishes itself from other art educations.

Elementary School: Home visit style of art education in the past provided infants and children focused curriculum and instructors, which caused problems when trying to teach the elementary school students. With Hongik Art, teaching materials are made based on elementary fine arts class textbooks. The lessons are thus applicable to school classes as well, and provide suitable education for the development of older students.

Middle school/High School: Systematic lessons, with teaching materials focused on drawing and water colours, will teach all the techniques needed for passing the evaluation process towards higher education in fine arts. Practical skills are taught with theories, helping the students understand art as a whole. During the first lessons, we recommend you to take a look at our teaching material so that you can see how Hongik stands out from its competitors.

Q. 02 How does it differ from private lessons?

In art, it is most important to practice it continuously.

In the case of private lessons, sessions are often interrupted due to personal circumstances of the instructor. In such cases, it takes twice the time and effort to return to the original level of progress that was lost during the break. Finally, private lessons usually lacks specific curriculum which means the teaching is not systematic. We at Hongik Art only hire instructors that graduated 4 year Art College degree, and also take in their career, character, and overall fit into consideration. Teaching materials have been created with the child’s different development level in mind, and is distributed accordingly to the individual interest and skill level.

[Because this is a period where they have difficulty focusing on specific tasks, lectures are designed to maximize their self expression through simple activities. The program develops their small muscles and perception, by having the child experiment with various materials and stimulating the 5 senses.]

-> 3-D Moulding
By combining Crafting and Drawing process, the child develops three dimensional moulding ability, and plane composition ability.

->Pure Painting
Through the method of direct drawing, the child can freely express imagery and develop their expressiveness.
