Seorang pengusaha menangkap basah seorang pencopet. Pencopet itu mengatakan bahwa dia tidak punya pekerjaan dan sekarang kelaparan. Dia baru saja dibebaskan dari rumah tahanan. Nama baiknya sudah ternoda, orang sulit memercayainya lagi. Kata pengusaha itu, "Baik,pakailah namaku saja, aku tidak pernah mengotorinya sepanjang hidupku. Gunakan nama baikku ini tapi jagalah agar tetap bersih."
Lima belas tahun kemudian, pengusaha tersebut membuka pintu kantornya, Dia melihat seorang pria berpenampilan terhormat berdiri disana. Pria tersebut berkata," Saya ingin berterima kasih pada anda. Saya sekarang sudah menjadi orang yang sukses dan saya berhutang budi pada anda, terutama karena anda telah mengijinkan saya menggunakan nama anda yang masih tetap tidak tercemar sampai pada saat ini."
Nama dianggap penting oelh kebanyakan orang.Ada beberapa nama yang sering sekali digunakan dikalangan masyarakat seperti misalnya: Untung, Slamet, Budi, Sri Rejeki, dan lain-lain. Nama-nama tersebut memiliki arti positif. Diharapkan bahwa si pemilik nama mengetahui arti yang sebenarnya dari nama yang mereka pakai. Translation - English The Meaning of a Name
A successful businessman caught a pickpocket in the act. The pickpocket said that he had no job and was in a condition where he had nothing to eat. He told the businessman that he was just released from the prison. His name was flawed and people found it difficult to trust him. The businessman said, ”Well, use my name then, I have never flawed it for as long as I have used it. You may use it but please take a good care of my name; keep it flawless.”
Fifteen years later, the businessman opened the door of his office. He found a gentleman standing there. The gentleman said,” I want to thank you. I am now a successful person and I owe you for it, especially for allowing me to use your name which is still flawless up to this very present.”
Names are considered important by lots of people. There are some names that are frequently used among the society such as : Untung (which means ‘lucky’), Slamet (which means ‘safe’), Budi (which means ‘kindness’), Sri Rejeki (which means ‘profits’), et cetera. Those names have positive meanings. It is hoped that the owners of the names really understand the meaning of their own names. “Names reveal ones’ true essences, personal identities and the meaning of ones’ lives.”

I have been an English teacher and translator since 2000. I translated lots of legal documents, mostly government's and some literary works. I am a mother with a daughter. She is 8 years old. My husband is an English teacher too. My passion lays in art. Lately I consider to go for a more serious career in translation. This is the reason why I joined the site and offered you my service in translation.
