Bio
Thank you for visiting my profile in proZ.

I am a clinical pathologist graduated from Medical Faculty of Gadjah Mada University who had numerous opportunities to do many activities. From 2005 to 2010, I had chances to be active in many organizations and had learned facilitation skills and team-cooperation. Beside active in the organizations, good time management made me got many academic achievements on faculty, regional and national level. Previously, I worked for World Health Organization country office for Indonesia as technical officer for Malaria-Vector Borne Diseases-Neglected Tropical Diseases. I got my double degrees, Clinical Pathologist and Master Degree of Clinical Medicine, since 2015 up to July 2019.  I am a hard worker, I am used to join voluntary and humanitarian works that had shown me the feeling of blessing and joy full of helping other people. So far, I also have been active on UN Online Volunteer, and have joined some International NGOs as online volunteer. I also has experience as an volunteer (English-Indonesia translator) of Community Empowerment Collective Society (CEC). This organization creates, edits, produces and distributes training material for community workers and their trainers and coordinators, to encourage the empowerment of low-income communities, towards self-reliance and sustainable development, with a focus on least-developed nations. CEC is registered in Canada. My duty was as an English-Indonesian translator.

My journey as an translator have been starting long time ago, since 2005. For me, translating not only "changing the language of the text", but also transferring the knowledge inside of the text. Many English medical books have been translating into Indonesian. However, due to the basic of the translator is not medicine, the important knowledge inside of it can get blur. I may not have formal education as a translator. However, I believe in my personal translation skill and experiences. I have many experiences in translating English-Indonesian (vv), with a quite big range of medical translating jobs --from journal into big books. I have translated journal since in medical faculty, and these days, some guidelines of WHO has been translated. Moreover, my professional language is English.

Here is the translated documents by me (book or just part of the document), some of them can be accessed freely for national program usage:
-Assessment of the National Schistosomiasis Control Programme in Indonesia.
-Malaria External Review, September 2011.
-Malaria National Strategic Plan.
-WHO National Strategic Plan.

I assure you absolute confidentiality with good time management to give service and full capacity of 1,500—5,000 words per day for medical translation, editing and proofreading project. I am a very keen researcher, aiming for accuracy by doing the research necessary to obtain the exact term/terminology and to produce translated texts with the highest degree of precision. I also try to update my resume regularly. Feel free to see it in provided attachment (limited access or upon request).
