I graduated at the University of Szeged, Hungary, I have university degrees in English and German language and literature, I successfully completed the additional training programs to become a teacher of both languages and a specialization in European Studies as well.
In the last two years, I worked at the University of Szeged as an academic officer of foreign students coming from all over the world.
Last year, I worked as a translator trainee at the European Commission in Brussels, where
I translated (English, German to Hungarian) documents (XML and DOC formats) from all fields encompassed by EU legislation, revised and edited texts of European Commission’s EUROPA website (news articles for EC home page, citizen summaries, activities overviews, leaflets, blurbs for the web page of EU Bookshop, etc.).
Furthermore, I revised freelance translations and received professional training on Computer Aided Translation Tools (Trados Workbench, TagEditor and MS Word programmes) and participated in several training courses on translation tools used in DGT. |
