When a generator breaks down unexpectedly (a forced outage) and supply decreases, demand is then greater than supply, even though consumption still precisely equals supply. Consumption is less than demand because of rationing. A consumer with a 100-W light turned on is demanding 100 watts of power. During a brown out, however, 100 watts are not supplied to the bulb as power to the bulb is rationed
by the suppliers. This rationing is not due to deliberate action but is a consequence of system physics which automatically lowers the voltage and frequency. For
simplicity, in the remainder of this section, rationing will be discussed as if it happened solely through frequency reduction, as this is generally considered to
be the predominant effect.
A drop in frequency below the target level of 60 Hz is a clear and accurate indication that demand exceeds supply for the interconnection as a whole. Similarly,
any frequency above 60 Hz indicates that supply exceeds demand. In other words, more than 100 watts are being delivered to 100-W motors. This extra power is generally unwanted because appliances are built and operated on the assumption that power will be delivered at a frequency of 60 Hz.
Because frequency indicates the discrepancies between supply and demand, frequency is the right guide for interconnection-wide price adjustment. When frequency is high, price should be reduced; when frequency is low, price should be raised. This is the classic adjustment process for keeping supply equal to demand.

Source text - Russian Структурным контролем размещения метаморфогенно-гидротермальных сульфидов являются антиклинальные складки, послойно-кливажные трещины и разрывные структуры, связанные с позднескладчатым этапом деформаций. Вследствие увеличения частоты и размеров, вкрапленники сульфидов переходят в прожилкоподобные скопления, образуя секущие прожилки или послойные пропластки.
Концентрация золота отмечается только в пределах зелено-сланцевой фации метаморфизма. Усиление регионального метаморфизма пород изменяет состав сульфидов. Пиритовая минерализация хлорит-серицитовой зоны сменяется в биотит-хлоритовой зоне пирит-пирротиновой, а в более высоких фациях метаморфизма - пирротиновой.
По мере усиления метаморфизма золотоносность постепенно ослабевает и, начиная с эпидот-амфиболитовой фации, не представляет сколько-нибудь существенного значения.
Translation - English Metamorphogenic-hydrothermal sulfides are structurally controlled by anticlinal folds, cleavage fissures occurring in beds, and fault structures related to the late folding stages of deformations. Increasing in frequency and sizes, sulfide impregnations become stringerlike concentrations constituting cross-cutting stringers or interlayers occurring in beds.
Gold concentration is only reported in the greenschist facies of metamorphism. Intensification of regional metamorphism of rocks changes the composition of sulfides. Pyrite mineralization of the chlorite-sericite zone becomes pyrite-pyrrhotite one in the biotite-chlorite zone, and pyrrhotite, in higher metamorphic facies.
As metamorphism intensifies, the gold potential gradually declines, and from the epidote-amphibolite facies on, becomes negligible.

Source text - English Pilate is urging clemency, patiently explaining to the Jewish leaders why Jesus should be freed. At most he will agree to have him whipped. Many interpreters have remarked that the portrayal of Pilate in the gospels is in sharp contrast to his character as it can be gleaned from the writings of Philo and Josephus. Could the Pilate of the gospel tradition, who agonizes over the fate of his prisoner and repeatedly tries to have him released, be the same man described by Philo as naturally inflexible and stubbornly relentless, responsible for acts of corruption, insults, rapine, outrages on the people, arrogance, repeated murder of innocent victims and constant and most galling savagery?
Admittedly, the evangelists were interested in proving that Jesus, despite his death at the hands of a Roman governor, had not been a rebel against Rome and that his message was not directed against the interests of Roman power. There can be little doubt that this motivation underlies the portrayal of Pilate in the gospels, but by itself it does not explain Pilate’s strangely uncharacteristic behavior.

Нефтяные сланцы являются одной из основных материнских пород, в которых в течение миллионов лет происходило образование углеводородов.

Translation - English Oil shale presents depositions of clay slate, siltstone and limestone featured with a high saturation with organic matter (kerogen). Oil shale is one of the key source rocks which have been producing hydrocarbons over millions and millions of years.
Part of the hydrocarbons migrated from source rocks to other structures, including conventional traps and tight rocks. Some of the mature hydrocarbons have stayed in the source rocks. The oil remaining in the source shale is called shale oil.
There are several types of differently composed shale, of varying components and saturated differently with mature hydrocarbons (see chapter "Oil Shale"). In a general case, from the point of view of permeability the oil shale are a subset of tight rocks, however, because they are source oil rocks, they are classified separately.
Bazhenov Formation is a non-conventional reservoir where hydrocarbons may both occur as shale depositions (in the source rock also containing kerogen), and highly productive lenses (see chapter “Bazhenov Formation”). Thus, Bazhenov Formation is by far not a common oil shale or tight rock in its pure form.
