You have the right to be represented by an attorney of your own choice. If you should need time to engage the services of an attorney, the Court will grant you a reasonable continuance to do so. If you cannot afford an attorney, upon application and if you qualify, a Public Defender will be appointed to represent you. If appointed, you must pay the administrative fee that is due to the Office of the Public Defender and that fee must be paid prior to your next appearance in court.
You have the right to know the charges filed against you. You have the right to plead not guilty to those charges and force the State to take you to trial and prove those charges against you beyond a reasonable doubt, before a judge or a jury depending on your election. You have a right to a speedy trial. At that trial you would have the right to confront any witnesses against you, call witnesses of your own, put on a defense or remain silent and force the state to meet their burden. 귀하는 직접 선임한 변호사가 귀하를 대변하게 할 권리가 있습니다. 만약 변호사를 선임할 시간이 필요하다면, 법정은 귀하에게 합당한 기간을 드릴 것입니다. 변호사를 선임할 돈이 없다면 공공 변호인 신청을 할 수 있으며, 자격요건에 맞는 경우 귀하를 대변할 공공 변호인이 선정될 것입니다. 공공 변호인이 선정될 경우 다음 법정 출두 전까지 공공변호국에 행정비를 내어야 합니다.

A book on the power of humor in leading business and life to success. Professor Shin Sanghun of Seoul Art Technical College is renowned as “the professor that’s funnier than a comedian”. His lectures are numbered among Samsung Economic Research Institute’s Best CEO Lectures, and have met with explosive approval at corporations like Samsung, LIG, and SK Telecom. Having worked as a screenwriter for the representative variety shows of MBC and KBS, he has given Koreans lots of gratifying laughs for over twenty years, and is by all means the best humor coach in the country. In other words, no one can make someone laugh as well as he does. This book is his manual on practical humor. It teaches the 1% of strength that turns a crisis into an opportunity: a sophisticated and polished, but a relatable and moving humor that can be insightfully selected according to the situation to make anyone laugh.
The author states that “Humor is not an issue of skill, but of mind.” Regardless of how gifted speaker one is, no suitable humor can come forth if one doesn’t have sharp ideas or keen insights about reality. Likewise, if one doesn’t have consideration and warm solicitude for others, it is impossible to come up with a creative solution to understand and resolve others’ frustrations and problems.
