Bio

Dear Sir/Madame:

Spending 17 years in Canada
for education and work, I can confidently say that I became a near native in English
both in spoken and written English, Although I am a native Korean speaker, I am
certain that I can offer an expertise in translation from Korean into English. In
fact, I am still working and engaging with international community using both Korean
and English languages.

I am currently based in
Seoul, Korea. But back in Canada I had helped many Koreans by interpreting
Korean into English in hospital for several years. Although I don't have an
academic medical degree, it helped me get interested in stepping into the
medical translation field.

Since I began my translation
career, I have worked in various subjects including chemistry, engineering,
business correspondences, and education documents. I have received good
feedback in my freelance translation work for the 10 years of my translation
career.

Since 2021, I began to focus on medical translation, especially on clinical trial
documents from Korean into English. Knowing the challenges of this field, I am
dedicated to continuing to research, read and learn medical subject matters
including the terminologies. In fact, I am a good and fast learner.

To prove my credential
as a translator for clinical trials, I am willing to take a translation test of
a clinical trial document from Korean to English.

Please contact me at
your convenience if you have any questions.

Thank you for your time
and consideration for reviewing this candidacy of mine.
