Koncepčné riešenie

V závislosti od druhu havárie môže dôjsť k vytvoreniu nebezpečnej koncentrácie vodíka v rôznych priestoroch KP. Vodík je horľavý, vysoko výbušný plyn. S kyslíkom a so vzduchom tvorí výbušnú zmes v širokom koncentračnom rozmedzí ( 4% - 75% obj.).
Hlavným zdrojom vodíka je korózia kovov (Al, Zr) a radiolýza vody. Pre havarijný manažment - pre zabezpečenie kontroly hodnoty koncentrácie vodíka i v prípade nadprojektových (ťažkých) havárii je potrebné inštalovať systém meraní koncentrácie vodíka v hermetických priestoroch.

Conceptual Solution

Dangerous hydrogen concentration can occur depending on the kind of an accident in the different rooms of CA. Hydrogen is flammable, highly explosive gas. It forms an explosive mixture together with oxygen and air over a wide concentration range (4% - 75% of vol.).
Corrosion of metals (Al, Zr) and radiolysis of water are the main source of hydrogen. Providing emergency management – to control hydrogen concentration value, even in case of beyond design basis (severe) accident - is necessary to install Hydrogen Concentration Measurement System in hermetic areas.
