I'm a translator - this is my vocation, my job and something I just love to do. Languages are my tools and my toys, I love building bridges between them like kids like playing with Lego blocks. In my spare time I'm a short-story writer and it should therefore come as no surprise that what I enjoy most are translations where creativity is involved and my writing talent can be expressed: fiction, essays, magazine articles, art criticism, popular manuals and the like. I've also been praised for doing an excellent job in rendering academic articles into English and into Slovenian.
