Bio
I offer quality translations from Spanish and English into Swedish which is my mother tongue.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Master of Arts in Translation. I have also studied Political Science, Development Studies, African Studies, English and Portuguese.

I specialize in texts within the fields of politics, EU, international organizations, development aid, journalism and tourism.

I have a recently completed a traineeship with the Directorate General for Translation of the European Commission. For the last two years I have also done volunteer translations for the organization LatiCe (latice.org) that publishes news articles and political texts from Latin America on their website.

Through a number of longer stays in Spanish speaking countries I have gained a high level of proficiency in the Spanish language and a thorough knowledge of the language’s cultural contexts. I have lived in Spain for a total of two years and spent six months in Bolivia.
