English to Bulgarian: Fuel system - maintenance and operation General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Source text - English The machine may be starved completely of fuel, and the engine may not start after fuel is added.
In this case, you may need to purge the air in one or more of the high pressure fuel injection lines.
To purge the line, first loosen the nut that attaches the fuel tube to the fuel injector.
This allows the air to escape from the line.
Crank the engine in order to remove the air from the line.
Then torque the nut to 27,5 N·m.
Translation - Bulgarian
English to Bulgarian: Screw press - operation instructions General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Source text - English Maintaining a constant feed rate also allows better optimisation of the cooking and rolling processes in the Mill ahead of the Press as it is not necessary to keep adjusting them for a changing feed rate.
Increasing the feed rate beyond the optimum level will generate higher frictional forces resulting in an increased power consumption and greater wear of the Press internals and is therefore undesirable.
Increasing the feed rate beyond the optimum level will also result in a significant increase in the solids in the oil and consequently will only result in a marginal increase in the net plant throughput, if at all.
Experience: I started doing translations in 2008, at first just part-time as I was a full-time Translation Project Manager at one of the leading LSPs in Europe. I worked in this position for 4 years, and the 3 years before that I was a Localization Engineer at the same company. In September 2013 I started working freelance and since then translating has been my full-time occupation.
CAT tools: SDL Trados Studio up to version 2019, memoQ, and for QA I use Xbench. I also have experience with other CAT tools and TM systems such as World Server.
Rate: Depending on the individual translation task, it can vary between 35 and 45 Euro per 1000 source words. It is always negotiable and reasonable.
Examples of material I have translated from English into Bulgarian:
Interpreting: I was one of the two English < > Bulgarian interpreters during a 4 day seminar of MIJARC Europe, attended by 43 participants from 10 countries.
Education: I have a Bachelor of Science degree (GPA 3.85 out of 4.0) in Computer Science from Bethany College of West Virginia, USA. There I also studied quite a lot of physics, psychology, and American literature. In secondary school my major subject was Technology and programming of computerized metal-cutting machines.
