Source text - English Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible.
Universal human rights are often expressed and guaranteed by law, in the forms of treaties, customary international law , general principles and other sources of international law. International human rights law lays down obligations of Governments to act in certain ways or to refrain from certain acts, in order to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms of individuals or groups.
Translation - Spanish Los derechos humanos son derechos inherentes a todos los seres humanos, sin importar nuestra nacionalidad, lugar de residencia, sexo, origen nacional o étnico, color, religión, lengua o cualquier otra condición social. Todos somos titulares del mismo derecho a nuestros derechos humanos sin discriminación. Estos derechos están interrelacionados, son interdependientes e indivisibles.
Los derechos humanos universales están contenidos y garantizados por la ley, en forma de tratados, el derecho internacional consuetudinario, los principios generales y otras fuentes del derecho internacional. I describe myself as a dynamic, highly organised and self-motivated professional, I am a passionate linguist with Mexican Spanish and North American English as my mother tongues.
I worked as in-house translator and bilingual assistant in a regional NGO for 4 years and I've been working as a freelance translator since 2012.
I also have extensive experience as a language teacher (english and french), in the medical field as radiologist technician at intensive care units and operating room, and in the aviation field as light sport aircraft amateur pilot. However I'm focusing on translation, as it allows me more flexibility for enjoying my paternity.
