| Translation - English A centre for integral learning - inspired by the principle of dynamic space
"Biluim" School Rammat-Gan
During this project, I primarily looked into the dynamic phenomenon, and how it may be used as an inspiration for the design and planning of a functional space.
This centre for learning is designed to contain two different groups of students, where one of them, was diagnosed with learning difficulties such as: Attention Deficit hyper Disorder (ADHD).
The space was planned and designed for the comfort of both groups of students, enabling them to learn in a shared space (Diagram - view 1), alongside an adjoining learning space (Diagram - view 2), which enables teaching of individuals and smaller groups.
The design of the learning space was influenced by dynamic principles and is built in its entirety as a dynamic system where the interior and the exterior communicate with one another. The achieved gradient and compactness was designed to help and distinguish between the two spaces. Enabling the users a more pleasant and relaxed learning atmosphere.
In addition, much thought was invested in other aspects, which were proven by research to calm and relax users. These aspects include: spacious and comfortable seats, carpets and warm colours.
After a careful consideration of this functionality, I have reached the conclusion that this learning space would be better titled "A spacious learning centre" .
