지난 주일에 거듭남에 대해서 말씀을 들었습니다. 사람은 두 번 태어나도록 지음 받았습니다. 한번은 육신의 몸으로 태어나서 세상을 보지만, 두번째 영적인 태어남을 통해서 하나님 나라를 볼 수 있게 됩니다. 기독교인들은 성령을 통해서 영으로 새로 태어난 사람들입니다. 거듭난 사람들의 과제는 영적 성장의 이루는 것입니다. 나의 영적인 삶을 잘 돌아보지 못하게 되면 제대로 성장할 수가 없습니다. 요즘 세상 사람들이 교회를 비판하는 이유도 영적인 미숙함 때문입니다. 외형적으로는 교인들도 많아지고 교회건물도 커지고 성장한 것 같은데, 영적인 실체는 미숙하기 때문에 그렇습니다. 아직도 세상 사람들과 똑같이 육의 삶에 얽매여서 영적으로 변화된 삶을 살아가지 못하기 때문에 그렇습니다.
영적 거듭난 사람이 성숙한 삶을 살기 위해서 필요한 것이 있습니다. 바로 바라보는 것이 달라져야 합니다. 전에는 사람을 바라보고 세상을 바라보면서 살았다면, 이제 영적으로 거듭나게 되면 예수 그리스도를 바라볼 수 있게 됩니다. 오늘 말씀을 보면, 내가 바라보아야 할 분이 어떠한 분인지를 소개하고 있습니다. 이 시간을 통해서 나는 무엇을 바라보며 살아가고 있는지를 살피고, 내가 바라봐야 하는 예수님은 어떠한 분이신지를 말씀을 듣도록 하겠습니다.
| Translation - English
Last Sunday, we talked about being reborn. Human beings were created that way. First, we were born physically to see this world that we are living now. Later, we are born of water and the Holy Spirit to enter the kingdom of God. If you are Christian then you are born again spiritually. What we need to do as Christians is try to mature ourselves spiritually. If you are not good at taking care of your spiritual life, then you are probably failing at maturing yourself personally as well. This is why it is so easy for us to give Christians a bad reputation. These days, outside churches are growing faster and bigger and more and more people are joining the Christian faith and consider themselves to be good Christians. But what other people see is that we are just another immature person. This happens because we have not grown spiritually. We are no different from those who don’t believe in God. Sometimes, we even think and behave the exact same way as they do.
In order to become a good Christian and have mature spiritual life, we need to have a different way of viewing things. If our previous interest was in people, we now need to focus on Jesus Christ. If we are born again in his name then our life will be focused on Jesus Christ. In today’s scripture, it talks about who we have to look up to as a Christian. Today we are going to take a look back at our life and who our role models have been so far. Also, we must understand who Jesus is and why we need to look up to him in our lives.
