1. Verify that X-rays are off on the equipment under test.
2. For 451 P only: Push power button to turn on the meter. The meter is auto ranging and the unit of
measure is fl.R/Hr.
3. For Radeye PRO Only: Push power button to turn on the meter.
4. For Thermo 900 only: Turn the power swich On to turn on the meter. The meter unit of measure is
J.JSv/Hr.
5. Take measurements in the local area around the system. This is a measurement of the natural
occurring or local background radiation (normal factory range is 10 fl.R/Hr or 0.1 J.JSv/Hr to 20 f.LR/Hr or
.2 J.JSv/Hr.) Observe readings for about 30 seconds.
6. Enter the value observed in the "scattered background" section on page 2, item B of the survey sheet.

1. Verify that X-rays are off on the equipment under test.
2. Power up the Mini series 900 Scintillation (hot spot) meter with a type 44A probe.
3. Follow operating instructions in Appendix B for the machine under test.
4. Place the face of the probe no more than 1" from the surface of the unit. Move the meter along the
surface of the entire system. The meter will emit a noise that gets louder as higher radiation areas are
located. When the meter reads over 1 K (counts per second), the area being surveyed will frequently be
above the radiation limit. Place colored dots or tape in locations where this value is reached. This
meter is used ONLY to locate "hot spots."
5. Using the Thermo Electron 900 Rate Meter with a GM probe type OH (J.JSvHr-1 display) or a
Victoreen/lnovision 451 P or Radeye PRO take a reading at each of the tapped/dotted areas by placing
the face of the Thermo 900 probe or the 451 P bottom of the meter against the area. The probe/meter
should be held no more than 1" from the surface of the unit (this defines the term "as close as
possible.") This process may take a while because the radiation is very low and it varies considerably
depending on location The meter will fluctuate somewhat but should settle out after 10 seconds. If still
fluctuating after 10 seconds, continue to hold there for up to 30 seconds and record reading when it
settles.

Source text - English To provide aircraft with bearing information a VOR is installed on the airside. A VOR provides short to medium range air navigation. There are two types of VORs: Conventional VOR (CVOR) and Doppler VOR (DVOR). There is a slight difference in the working of the two different VOR types. DVOR is a further development of the CVOR. DVOR is more accurate and less sensitive for obstacles nearby, meaning that the sensitive area nearby (to be free of obstacles) is smaller for the DVOR.
CVOR and DVOR could be used both for en-route as for non-precision approach.
For en-route purposes choosing the VOR location is not a very critical issue due to the great distance between the beacon and the aircraft, as long as there are no obstacles in the vicinity of the equipment that may affect the radio signals. So somewhere on a hill with a free horizon is best, from a technical point of view. The location is to be coordinated with other existing beacons.
A location nearby or on the airport will be lacking a free horizon due to several high buildings and hills and mountains nearby. This would limit the performance for en-route navigation.
A CVOR or DVOR to be used as a non-precision approach aid would be best to be located on or nearby the (extended) centerline of the most commonly used runway, with a clear horizon (to approaching aircraft) as much as possible.
The location of the VOR needs to be coordinated with the Civil Aviation Authorities with respect to en-route navigation, approach, missed approach and departure procedures.
The airport is already equipped with a Conventional VOR (CVOR) near Threshold 12L.
Since the C-VOR has the same functionality as a DVOR, it is not advised to provide the airport with another VOR system installed on or nearby the same airfield. One VOR is sufficient. Two would be confusing, and would not deliver benefits from air navigational point of view.
Use of more than one VOR combined is a common arrangement but with a great distance in between: hundreds of kilometres, to enhance en-route and terminal area navigation.
If the performance of the present CVOR on the airport is considered insufficient, replacement by a DVOR will be an improvement, but will still have limitations, especially for en-route in southern direction, where a long stretched mountain range is at the horizon at an angle of about 6%. Replacing the CVOR by a DVOR is technically and operationally feasible. In case of replacement, the proposed DVOR location would be near the CVOR location which is remote from (future) tall buildings. Further decisions on siting should also be based on a site survey by the supplier.

Source text - English 1. Dual Taxi Triple taxilane center lights are non-obligatory according to ICAO requirements. In case of bad weather conditions follow-me vehicles will be used anyway. Also it will be risky to operate dual taxiway in bad weather conditions because of low visibility distance.
2. Aircraft stand lead-in lights are not obligatory according to ICAO and are not used at airports like Riyadh SA Airport, Schippol Airport, Taipei Taiwan Airport. Installation of lead-in lights can impede the modification of parking stands if it will be needed in future. Also driving of heavy vehicles over these lights can lead to risk of frequent malfunction of lights.
3. According to ICAO Annex 14 aircraft stand edge lights are not required if sufficient high mast illumination is provided. Sufficient high mast illumination is provided on apron of Terminal. Also there is sufficient amount of edge lights near the aircraft stands.

Cabin service trainer will designed with half-open body. Education process inside can be viewed from outside.

Instead of 757 Slide Tower proposed by us a 737 Slide Tower will be installed.

According to meeting with School representatives door trainers will delivered as one 737 main door and one 777 main door.

Representatives of School require 2 units of Diamond Combined Trainer. A separate meeting should held on this issue regarding the amount indicated in BoQ. Representatives of School told that they will submit a letter regarding this issue.

Translation is not a commodity, and I believe it to be more of an art, where there are no two men, who perform the craft of translation identically; each translator utilizes skills of his own, which are developed through education and practice. I am a translator working in English, Turkmen and Russian languages, graduated from two universities majoring in translation and linguistics.
