I am an experienced and highly motivated translator and localisation specialist with a brilliant academic background. I am a self-learning person, very analytical and methodical, and with good problem-solving skills.

I have an MA in Literature and a BA in English Translation, and I worked in the localisation QA department of a couple of game companies for 8 years. I have also worked as a freelance translator and interpreter since 2000. My linguistic academic background and my experience in administrative and managerial roles give me the assets to deal with a wide range of activities.

I have experience using SDL Trados as well as a variety of other CAT tools. I can translate between 3,500 and 4,500 words per day depending on the nature of the source text.

My rates are 0.06 GBP per source word, discounted to 0.05 GBP per word for translation tasks over 10,000 words.
