The rise to power of the armed organization that in June 2014 took the name Islamic State has been swift and, until recently, largely undetected. In recent years this group has frequently changed its name. Originally part of Abu Mussab al Zarqawi’s organization Tawhid wal Jihad, it later became the Islamist State in Iraq (ISI), which eventually merged into al Qaeda in Iraq. In 2010, when Abu Bakr al Baghdadi became its leader, the group reverted to its erstwhile moniker the Islamic State in Iraq. In 2013, following its merger with a section of Jabhat al Nusra, a Syrian jihadist group affiliated with al Qaeda, the organization renamed itself Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (al Sham), better known by the acronym ISIL or ISIS. Finally, just before the declaration of the Caliphate, ISIS became the Islamic State. In Syria, however, right from the beginning, and today in Iraq also, the group has been know simply al Dawlat, the State.

Bio
I've been a professional translator for 10 years and I have experience in different fields of translation.

I have experience in fields, such as: specialized literature, popular science, financial and office documentation, personal documents.

I've been part of different national and international projects, and I have several publications: a bilingual magazine with ISSN 1313-3837 (Golf & SPA Bulgaria). I was part of the team of translators of Malcolm Gladwell's book "What the Dog Saw" in Bulgarian (ISBN 978-954-491-978-8). I am also the translator of the critacally acclaimed book by the Italian journalist Loretta Napoleoni "The Islamist Phoenix". (ISBN 978-619-186-101-9)

I've translated many scientific articles and PhD theses of Bulgarian and foreign scientists.

Since 2009, I've been running my own translation agency, which features a young and enthusiastic team of translators. We offer different language pairs. I have signed an agreement with the “Legalizations and Certifications” Sector of the “Administrative Service of Bulgarian and Foreign Citizens” Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria for provision of intermediary services in translation and legalization of documents. The company provides support in legalizing international documents in Bulgaria.

For the past 10 years my experience shows that each type of translation, regardless of its field, requires good collaboration between the client and the translator, quick communication, and positive attitude from both sides. The responsible attitude of the client is a perquisite for high quality of the translations and their timely completion.
