Preschool students with developmental delays or disabilities may be eligible to receive related services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or counseling. These related services are provided to eligible preschool children free of charge through the NYC Department of Education’s special education program. Your child’s special education services, including any related services, will be listed on a document called an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The Department of Education is responsible for arranging therapists to provide all of the related services on your child’s IEP by the start date listed on the IEP.
This fact sheet outlines the process that the Department of Education uses to assign related services providers to preschool children who are not in center-based special education preschool programs. If your child’s IEP recommends a preschool special class or a preschool special class in an integrated setting, he or she will receive related services throughhis or herspecial education program, so the process described here does not apply.
Process for Assigning Related Services Providers
The Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) will assign related services provider(s)to work with your child each school year. For children who have 10-month IEPs, the school year begins in September. For children with 12-month IEPs, the school year begins in July.Parents do not have the right to choose the providers. Just as a school-age child is assigned to a new teacher each year, a preschool child could be assigned to a new provider each year (although in some cases, the child may be assigned to the same provider who worked with him or her before).
Most preschool students will receive related services through an agency that has a contract with the CPSE. Each agency works with many different therapists who provide services such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy. The CPSE will use the following procedure:
1. If your child is in Pre-K at a public school, providers working at the school will provide services if possible. If not, then the CPSE will use the process below.
2. The CPSE will send your child’s case to the primary agency in the borough where you live and give the agency five days to assign a related services provider to your child.
3. If the primary agencydoes not have a provider available, the CPSE will send your child’s case to a “second tier” agency,which will haveup to five days to assign a provider.
4. If thesecond tier agency does not have a provider, the CPSE will send your child’s case to a “third tier” agency,which will haveup to five days to assign a provider.
5. If none of the three tiers of contracted agencies can assign a provider by the deadline, the CPSE will select and sign a contract with an independent provider.
The CPSE is responsible for finding service providers, whether they work for contracted agencies or independent providers, to work with your child.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
• The Department of Education must provide all related services on the IEP, starting on time at the start of the school year. If your child starts receiving related services during the school year, services must begin by the start date listed on your child’s IEP.
• Services must take place in the least restrictive environment appropriate for your child. For most children, the least restrictive environment will be the child’s Pre-K, preschool, child care center, or home.Sometimes, the IEP team determines that it is appropriate for a child to receive services in a different location, such as a related services agency. The appropriate location should be discussed at your child’s IEP meeting and written on your child’s IEP.
• The CPSE must arrange transportation for preschool students who receive related services at a location other than their home, Pre-K, preschool, or child care center. If you take your child to the provider’s office, the CPSE will reimburse you for the amount you spend on MetroCards or taxi/car service. You should complete the reimbursement form at http://schools.nyc.gov/Academics/SpecialEducation/SupportsServices/RelatedServices/default.htmand give it to your CPSE administrator. If you cannot afford to wait for reimbursement, you should ask your CPSE administrator to give you MetroCards or arrange taxi/car service for you. If you are unable to take your child to the agency, the CPSE must arrange transportation for your child.
• Your child has the right to receive make-up services for any weeks that he or she misses because the CPSE did not arrange for the services to start on time.
How to Resolve Problems with Related Services
You can take the following steps if you are having a problem with your preschool child’s related services, such as services not starting on time, services not being provided at the appropriate location, services not being provided in the language listed on the IEP, or transportation not being provided to services at an agency:
1. Call the CPSE office that serves your child.For a list of CPSE offices, please visit: http://schools.nyc.gov/Academics/SpecialEducation/Help/Contacts/CSECPSE.htm.
2. If the CPSE does not resolve the problem, [email protected], an e-mail address set up by the Department of Education (DOE) to address problems with related services. You should include your child’s name, date of birth, NYC ID #, a description of the problem, and anysteps you have taken to try to address the problem. Minister’s announcement
On 21 May 2017, the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection announced that the approximately 30,500 illegal maritime arrivals (IMAs) who arrived on or after 13 August 2012 and before 1 January 2014 must lodge their Temporary Protection visa (TPV) or Safe Haven Enterprise visa (SHEV) application before 1 October 2017.
• Most IMAs have lodged a visa application, which are being assessed or have been decided after a fair and rigorous process.
• The IMAs who are yet to apply have had a significant opportunity to lodge an application.
• IMAs who do not apply before 1 October 2017 are expected to depart Australia. They will:
o be barred from applying for any type of temporary or permanent visa in Australia
o have permission to work, Medicare and access to education for school-age children while they make arrangements to depart.
At any time, the Department will assist IMAs who wish to voluntarily depart Australia to do so under the shortest possible timeframe.
What do I need to do?
• If you have not applied and you are seeking protection in Australia, you must apply for a TPV or SHEV before 1 October 2017.
• If you lodge a valid application before 1 October 2017, you will continue to be eligible to access Government services while your claims are assessed.

A computer is
an electronic device that manipulates information, or data. It has the ability
to store, retrieve, and process data. You can use a
computer to type documents, send email, and browse the Web. You can also use it
to handle spreadsheets, accounting, database management, presentations, games,

For beginner computer
users, the computer aisles at an electronics store can be quite a mystery, not
to mention overwhelming. However, computers really aren't that mysterious. All
types of computers consist of two basic parts:
Hardware is any part of
your computer that has a physical structure, such as the computer
monitor or keyboard.
Software is any set
of instructions that tells the hardware what to do. It is what guides
the hardware and tells it how to accomplish each task. Some examples of
software include web browsers, games, and word processors such as
Microsoft Word.
Anything you buy for
your computer can be classified as either hardware or software. Once you learn
more about these items, computers are actually very straightforward.
The first electronic
computer, the Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer (ENIAC), was
developed in 1946. It took up 1,800 square feet and weighed 30 tons.
When most people hear
the word "computer," they think of a personal computer such as
a desktop or laptop computer. However, computers come in many
shapes and sizes, and they perform many different functions in our daily lives.
When you withdraw cash from an ATM, scan groceries at the store, or use a
calculator, you're using a type of computer.
Desktop
computers
Many people use desktop
computers at work, home, school, or the library. They can be small, medium,
or large in style, and they usually sit on a desk. Once you add a monitor,
mouse, and keyboard, you have what is typically known as a desktop computer.
Most desktop computers are easy to upgrade and expand or add new
parts. Another benefit of desktop computers is the cost. If you compare
a desktop and a laptop with the same features, you will most
likely find that the desktop computer is priced lower.
Some desktop
computers have a built-in monitor to save space. These are often called
all-in-one desktop computers.
Laptop
computers
The second type of
computer you may be familiar with is a laptop computer, or a laptop.
Laptops are battery- or AC-powered personal computers that are more portable
than desktop computers, allowing you to use them almost anywhere.
Because a laptop is
smaller than a desktop, it's more difficult to access its internal components.
This means you may not be able to upgrade them as easily as a desktop. However,

Servers
A server is a
computer that "serves up" information to other computers on a
network. Many businesses have file servers that employees can use to
store and share files. A server can look like a regular desktop computer, or it
can be much larger.
Servers also play an
important role in making the Internet work: They are where webpages
are stored. When you use your browser to click a link, a web server
delivers the page you requested.
Other
types of computers
Today, there are many
everyday devices that are basically specialized computers, even though
we don't always think of them as computers. Here are a few common examples:
Tablet computers: These use a touch-sensitive
screen for typing and navigation. Because they don't require a
keyboard or mouse, tablet computers are even more portable than laptops.
The iPad is an example of a tablet
computer.
Mobile phones: Many mobile
phones can do a lot of things computers can do, such as browsing the Internet
and playing games. These phones are often called smartphones.
Game consoles: A game
console is a specialized kind of computer that is used for playing video
games. Although they are not as fully featured as desktop computers,
many newer consoles, such as the Nintendo Wii,
allow you to perform nongaming tasks like browsing the Web.
TVs: Many TVs now
include applications (or apps) that let you access various
types of online content. For example, you can view your Facebook news feed or watch streaming
movies on Netflix.
Personal computers
come in two main styles: PC and Mac. Both styles are fully
functional, but they do have a different look and feel, and many people prefer
one or the other.
PC: This type of
computer began with the original IBM PC that was introduced in
1981. Other companies began to create similar computers, which were called
IBM PC Compatible (often shortened to PC). Today, this
is the most common type of personal computer, and it typically includes
the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Mac: The Macintosh
computer was introduced in 1984, and it was the first widely sold personal
computer with a Graphical User Interface, or GUI (pronounced
gooey). All Macs are made by one company, Apple Inc., and they
almost always use the Mac OS X operating system.
Although PC

1. Choose a company name

You have the ability to see if the company name you have chosen has already been selected by someone else. In 2003, this system became computerized. Once you find out that the name you have chosen is available to be registered, you will then apply for name clearance by using the website for the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC). You can check the status of your application any time online. It will normally not take longer than one business day for a decision to be made whether to accept or reject your application. If your application is accepted, the company name you have chosen will be reserved for a length of six months. You must print out the name clearance certificate and put it together with the other documents you will need for the incorporation. You must submit these to the RJSC.
2. Go to a designated bank and pay stamp duty

Cost: BDT 2,500
You will make your stamp duty payment to the account of the Treasury located at the BRAC Bank. There is a stamp duty fee of BDT 2,500 for an authorized share capital of up to BDT 1,000,000. These include BDT 500 for Memorandum of Association stamps and BDT 2,000 for attaching stamps on the Articles of Association.
3. Submit your registration at the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms

Cost: BDT 1,200 registration filing fee + 3,645 registration fees
In order for you to register a company, you will need to submit these documents to the registrar:
– Articles and Memorandum of association
– Proof of payment for Treasury Stamps. This can be your receipt from the designated bank
– Name clearance certificate
– Form XII (Particulars of the Managing Agents, Managers and Directors); Form X (A list of people who consent to act as directors); Form IX (Consent to act as directors); Form VI (Notice of the registered office) and Form I (Declaration on the registration of the company)
4. Obtain a Tax Identification Number

Before you can officially open your shop and start your business, you are required to register for taxes at the correct tax authority (Zonal TaxationDepartment, Deputy Commission of Taxes of Company Circle) that is under the National Board of Revenue (NBR) and get yourself a unique tax ID number.

6. Get a trade license

7. Register for VAT

For purposes of the VAT, you must register with the VAT, Excise and Customs Commission under the National Board of Revenue. The VAT of a shop is regulated by the Excise, VAT and Customs Department of the specific region that it is located in.
After you have filed all of the paperwork and you are legally ready to open a shop in Bangladesh, there are still some other things that you will need to consider. For example, where exactly do you plan on opening your shop? You will need to look at available plots of land that you can afford.
