So bekommen nur solche Frauen diese Therapie, bei denen sie aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach auch wirkt.
Der XXX Brustkrebstest ermöglicht die Prädiktion des Nutzens einer zusätzlichen Chemotherapie: Er analysiert die Genexpressionen im Tumorgewebe der Patientin – auf diese Weise ist eine individuelle, eindeutige Aussage über den tatsächlichen Nutzen einer Chemotherapie möglich. So hilft die Prädiktion mit XXX Ärzten auf der ganzen Welt, sich sicher zu sein, die richtige Entscheidung für oder gegen eine Chemotherapie zu treffen. Zahlreichen Patientinnen bleiben damit die negativen Auswirkungen einer Chemotherapie erspart. Di conseguenza, assumono la terapia solo le donne in cui con elevata probabilità tale trattamento agisce in modo efficace.
Il test per il tumore al seno XXX consente di prevedere l'efficacia di una chemioterapia aggiuntiva: analizza le espressioni geniche nel tessuto tumorale della paziente, rendendo possibile un'ipotesi personalizzata e chiara sull'efficacia reale della chemioterapia. Quindi la predizione tramite XXX aiuta i medici di tutto il mondo ad acquisire sicurezza nelle decisioni in merito all'adozione o meno della chemioterapia. Why STREAM?
• Treatment results from prospective treatment cohorts of patients in Bangladesh suggested that MDR TB treatment could be improved using available drugs
• 83% of a cohort of 206 patients were reported cured
The STREAM trial compares, in a non-inferiority design, the efficacy and safety of a 9-month regimen based closely on the one described by Van Deun with the locally used WHO approved regimen for MDR-TB.

The primary objectives of Stage 1 of the STREAM trial are:
To assess whether the proportion of patients with a favourable efficacy outcome at 27 months (120 weeks) on the 9-month regimen (Regimen B) is not inferior to that on the WHO approved MDR-TB regimen (Regimen A)
To compare the proportion of patients who experience grade 3 or greater adverse events, during treatment or follow-up, on Regimen B as compared to Regimen A
