This proposal will not impact the school’s participation in the School Renewal Program. If this proposal is approved by the Panel for Educational Policy (“PEP”), the DOE will continue to work closely with the I.S. 349 community to ensure all students receive the individualized support they need.
Pursuant to recent amendments to the Education Law which provide certain new and expanding charter schools with access to facilities, AF Bushwick and AF East New York made a co-location request to the DOE for space to accommodate AF University Prep’s authorized and planned enrollment and grade span.
Extensive public engagement was conducted in the course of creating this proposal which included:
o Meeting with members of CEC 32 on November 6, 2014 to inform the CEC of the recent amendments to the Education Law, as well as present a district needs assessment for District 32; this meeting included a discussion of the rationale of this proposal.
o A Community Needs Assessment Forum on November 13, 2014 which included elected officials and representatives from Brooklyn CECs and District Presidents Councils at which this proposal was discussed along with other potential District Planning needs and priorities in Brooklyn.
o A walkthrough of building K111 with a Deputy Chancellor and Community Superintendent on November 26, 2014.
o After the building walkthrough on November 26, 2014, the Deputy Chancellor, Community Superintendent and representatives from the Office of District Planning and the Office of Space Planning met with the Principals and School Leadership Team members of I.S. 347 and I.S.349 to discuss the proposal further, listened to questions and concerns from both school communities, and determined whether significant logistical or other concerns would prevent the implementation of this proposal if approved by the Panel for Educational Policy(“PEP”).

The installation of this update will take up to 30 minutes to complete. Be sure to keep your engine running, not in accessory mode, throughout the entire installation process. Turning off your vehicle during the update installation will disrupt the process. Although your vehicle must be in park when you begin the installation process, you may drive your vehicle while the update is downloading to your SYNC system.
If your vehicle is equipped with the Intelligent Access with Push Button Start feature, you will need to temporarily disable the Automatic Engine Idle Shutdown (AEIS) component before beginning the installation in order to prevent your vehicle from timing out and shutting off the engine before the software update is complete. To disable this feature, use your steering wheel controls to navigate to the Settings menu on your left-hand Instrument Cluster LCD display.
From there, select Vehicle, then Auto Engine Off, and Off. (If you do not see this setting, there is no need to make any changes before starting the update.) Alternatively, after initiating the installation, you may drive the vehicle during the update process to avoid the engine shutting off. The AEIS will automatically reset to ON; the next time you start your vehicle.
Please note: During the update installation, SYNC will temporarily appear to not recognize your mobile phone or media device. This is normal.When your system has been successfully updated, SYNC will display a notification saying, “Installation Complete”.

As you have seen in that course, Retail Sales is one of the different possible sales environments.
Retail Sales is the last and final point in the sales and distribution chain. Goods are manufactured at one place and then sent to wholesalers or distributors in different regions. The goods are then shipped to retailers (shops where these are sold to customers). The number of distributors in the chain will depend upon the nature of the product, the market span, whether within one country or across countries and other factors.
Ultimately, it is the retailer that sells the goods to the customer who is also known as the consumer.
It is not difficult to learn retail sales. It is important to consistently follow what you have learnt. Every customer is important. You should try to satisfy each and every customer. You may not make a sale in every interaction due to various reasons beyond your control. But ensure that the customer comes back.

Kansai Nerolac launches its first ever Durga Puja initiative in Kolkata to promote the state’s rich culture
Aims at creating landmarks by encouraging people to paint murals to beautify the
neighbourhood while promoting the culture of Bengal

• Empowering people to get together and beautify their neighbourhood
Kolkata, August 17, 2015: Kansai Nerolac, one of India’s leading paint companies, has launched a unique initiative called ‘Shera Para Shera Pujo’, to commemorate the Durga Puja season this year, and promote the rich culture of Bengal. As part of this initiative, the company is encouraging consumers and Pujo committees across Bengal to participate in a mural painting contest, and to compete and win the coveted title of ‘Most Sought After Pujo’, respectively.
Through this initiative, Nerolac aims at inspiring the people of Bengal to re-connect with their roots, and celebrate the best of Bengali culture through the Durga Puja festivities. Nerolac has designed a platform that will help consumers beautify their neighbourhoods by participating in a mural painting contest.
The theme for this competition is 'Dasho Bhuja', the Ten Shaktis of Maa Durga, where each neighbourhood led by their Durga Puja Association will nominate a wall in their locality. Under the guidance of ‘Art Mentors’ these walls will become the canvas for unique and beautiful murals, brought to life using the paints provided by Nerolac.
The top 21 murals will be shortlisted by a special panel of celebrity judges consisting of the world famous percussionist - Bickram Ghosh, Bengali film actress - Paoli Dam, & the well-known painter – Mr. Wasim R. Kapoor along with two representatives from team Nerolac. The shortlisted murals will then be showcased through a public vote campaign on Kansai Nerolac’s social media platforms.
The contest ‘Shera Para, Shera Pujo’ literally translated means ‘best neighbourhood, best puja’. The second part of the contest will focus on identifying the best Puja in the city. As part of this competition, 250 registered Puja Committees will compete under different categories like Shera Protima, Shera Bonedi Baadi Pujo, Shera Socially Relevant Pujo, Shera Green Pujo, Shera Pandal, etc. The winners of Best Pujo will also be selected by the same panel of judges and later be showcased by public voting on social media. The contest is scheduled to end by Ashtomi, post the immersion.
At the launch of this initiative, Mr. Sudeep Kolte, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Decorative Paints, Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, said, “The culture and tradition of Bengal has always thrived in its deep-rooted love and respect for art. This initiative is our way of encouraging, celebrating and cherishing their roots while taking pride in their customs and festivities. This will also give the people of Bengal an opportunity to come together to beautify and enhance their neighbourhood in colours they love.”
