Spanish to English: Extract from an Introduction by Olivier Longué to Vidas Ocupadas
Translation - English These difficulties should not have arisen, given the protections afforded by International Humanitarian Law (IHL). We have no desire to point fingers at anyone. We simply gather evidence and facts, and bear witness to what the occupation has entailed for the most vulnerable sectors of the population. Our work is made possible thanks to the support of institutions such as the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), ensuring that every person has access to clean water and food. This is our area of expertise and we achieve our goals in up to 50 countries day in, day out.
