Source text - Italian È stata prestata particolare attenzione ai vissuti dei partecipanti rispetto alla loro attuale relazione di coppia e a come questa sia stata strutturata alla luce della precedente esperienza matrimoniale finita, evidenziando peculiarità legate al genere. Alla ricerca hanno partecipato 15 uomini e 15 donne che hanno alle spalle una separazione o un divorzio e vivono attualmente una nuova relazione di coppia. È stata creata ad hoc un’intervista semistrutturata. Dall’analisi del materiale raccolto, effettuata attraverso l’approccio della Grounded Theory, è emerso che l’esperienza di separazione vissuta dagli intervistati influenza il percorso di costruzione di una nuova relazione sia indirettamente, in virtù delle priorità attorno alle quali l’individuo ristruttura la propria vita, che direttamente, in termini di difficoltà incontrate, caratteristiche ricercate e aspettative nutrite rispetto alla relazione.
Translation - English Highlighting gender peculiarities, we focused particularly on the life experience of participants in their current partnership and to the way the previous experience of marriage influences it. 15 men and 15 women living a new relationship after a divorce or separation experience took part to this research. A semi structured interview has been ad hoc produced. The collected information has been examined through a Grounded Theory approach, and the analysis showed that the separation experience of interviewees influences the building process of new relationships. This effect is both indirect (new priorities in individual organization of life), and direct (encountered difficulties, sought-after qualities and expectations about new relationship).

In 2008, I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Turin, Italy. I then moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where I still live and work as a paralegal in an international Family Office.
