SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 26, 1999 – Intel Corporation today introduced the Celeron™ processor 466MHz and the Intel® 810 chipset, two products that bring increased performance and capabilities to value PCs. The Celeron processor 466MHz is now Intel’s fastest processor for value PCs, providing great performance for today’s applications and a great way for consumers to get on the Internet for under $1,000.
Specifically designed for value PCs, the new Intel 810 chipset integrates 3D AGP graphics and enables software-based audio, modem and DVD capabilities. The Intel 810 brings higher levels of performance and new technologies to low-cost PCs while integrating capabilities that would otherwise require dedicated hardware add-in cards. This unique design helps PC man-ufacturers reduce costs and deliver more value to users.
“These products demonstrate how Intel is using its manufacturing and system design expertise to optimize the cost and capabilities of value PCs,” said Paul Otellini, executive vice president and general manager, Intel Architecture Business Group.
The Intel 810 Chipset: Leading Value PC Design, Great Price
The Intel 810 chipset uses several new innovations to deliver enhanced performance for value PCs. For example, the new Direct AGP and Dynamic Video Memory technologies provide AGP 2X-class performance for today’s 3D software applications. In addition to integrating tech-nologies, the Intel 810 chipset adds new capabilities including Instantly Available PC technology, which allows computers to quickly resume operation with low levels of power, and Intel Acceler-ated Hub Architecture, which doubles the size of the communications channel within the chipset for better multimedia performance. In addition, the Intel 810 chipset removes outdated “legacy” technology such as the ISA bus in order to improve reliability and ease-of-use.
Product Features, Price and Availability
Intel Celeron processors are now offered at 466, 433, 400, 366 and 333 MHz speeds. Available Plastic Pin Grid Array (PPGA) packaging in 1,000-unit quantities, the Celeron processor 466 MHz is priced at $169. The processor will be available in systems from several major PC manufacturers, as well as in boxed format from Intel product dealers and resellers.
Three versions of the Intel 810 chipset will be available in June: the Intel 810DC100 with 4MB of optional display cache for $32, the Intel 810 chipset for $29.50, and the Intel 810-L chip-set, a reduced cost version, for $25.50. Chipset prices are in 10,000 unit quantities.

September 28, 1998 - Through the combined efforts of Intel, key technical and creative ISVs, and many industry-leading hardware suppliers, Intel®-based multi-processing workstations have made remarkable progress in the last year. The result: multiprocessor platforms offer significant performance benefits over single-processor configurations, today - at costs that are easily justified.
Preface
While the performance and cost benefits of Intel's multiprocessor (MP) servers are well understood, Aberdeen research finds that decision-makers are not as clear on the value, or progress, of Intel's MP workstation technologies (in fact, only 20% of Intel's branded technical workstations are currently sold with more than one processor). However, workstation buyers should be aware that, over the last 9 months, multi-processing technologies - both hardware and software solutions - have become an increasingly significant resource focus not only for Intel, but also for leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
More importantly, all three are working together. Their efforts ensure that immediate, calculable benefits are delivered to customers in multi-tasking and multi-threaded, Intel-based environments and the key technical applications that run on them.
Performance Gains - Worth A Look!
Intel's MP workstations are now delivering real performance benefits:
Application Performance - Current application benchmark test results show that users can expect between 73% and 99% performance gains (over single-processor configurations) in multi-tasking application environments. Further performance gains in multi-threaded environments range between 34% and 93%, depending upon the application.
Aberdeen anticipates that future multi-threaded applications, starting Q498, written specifically to take advantage of MP will register even greater increases in data handling and processing - for instance, rendering more realistic images in real time. Additionally, Aberdeen research shows that, upon the availability of Windows NT* 5.0, the performance delta between single- and dual-processor systems will widen as multi-threaded applications capitalize on performance gains from improvements made at the Operating System (OS) level.
User Productivity - In short, multi-processing allows for multi-tasking, inherently increasing the productivity of a technical worker. For example, a customer can offload the rendering of a large 3D model on one processor and then use the second processor to work on "productivity applications" or email.
But Is MP Affordable? Go Figure!
Aberdeen suggests that workstation buyers may no longer be able to ignore the value of multiprocessor workstations, especially at the prices that OEMs can offer for a second processor on a workstation. To aid decision makers in their evaluation of performance gains versus cost of an additional processor, Intel has derived an intuitive - and realistic - formula that may help justify the purchase of a second processor (for details, see Intel's Web site at www.intel.com). In most situations, MP solutions are now within the price range of all but the most budget-conscious workstation buyer - the incremental processors can pay for themselves within four to eight weeks.
ISVs Embrace Multi-Threading
Over the last year, Intel has been aggressively working with major ISVs to increase the number of multi-threaded applications available on the Intel architecture. The result: many industry-leading technical applications are already multi-threaded, or will be soon. Market-leading ISVs Adobe, Bentley, Kinetix, Softimage and others already offer multi-threaded applications for customers in market segments such as Finance, MDA, DCC, and EDA. Intel continues to accelerate ISV multi-threading efforts with resources such as its Applications Solutions Centers (ASCs), where Intel and ISVs work hand-in-hand to optimize software for multi-processing environments.
OEM Involvement
Most workstations based on the Intel® Pentium® II - and Pentium II Xeon™ processor are capable of supporting two processors - and Pentium II Xeon processors upcoming in Q299 will support up to four processors. Prices per additional processor vary depending upon the OEM and the chip, but rarely exceed $1800. And Aberdeen expects those prices to steadily decrease as OEMs increase the incentives for users to purchase MP solutions.
Aberdeen Conclusions
At all points on the price/performance value chain, there are real, calculable business benefits to customers using multiple-processor workstations to run technical applications. These benefits are now possible because of:
The technology advancements made by Intel and key ISVs that aid in designing and optimizing multi-threaded applications; and
The prices that OEMs can offer for a second Intel processor.
With accelerated support from Intel, ISVs, and OEMs, Aberdeen anticipates that an increasing number of industry-leading applications will soon be multi-threaded - the key to rapid adoption of MP platforms. Therefore, Aberdeen recommends that workstation buyers seriously evaluate an MP, Intel-based solution for their next purchase.

ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION OF
PARAGON CONSTRUCTION LIMITED
1. The regulations contained in Part 1 of Table "A" in the First Schedule of the Companies Law, Cap. 113 (which Table is hereinafter called "Table A") shall apply to this Company, save those which by these presents are exempted or amended or which are inconsistent with the other provisions of these Articles. The regulations of Part 1 of "Table A" No. 11, 24, 53, 58, 60, 77, 79, 88 (a), 89, 90, 91, 92, 98 and 113 shall not apply, but save as above provided and in addition to the other provisions of Part 1 of "Table A", the following shall constitute the Articles of Association of this Company.
2. The Company is a private company and consequently:
(a) The right to transfer shares is restricted in manner hereinafter prescribed.
(b) The number of members of the Company (exclusive of persons who are in the employment of the Company and of persons who having been formerly in the employment of the Company were while in such employment and have continued after the determination of such to be members of the Company) is limited to fifty. Provided that where two or more persons hold one or more shares in the Company jointly they shall for the purpose of this Article be treated as a single member.
(c) Any invitation to the public to subscribe for any shares or debentures of the Company is prohibited.
(d) The Company shall not have power to issue share warrants to bearer.
3. Any branch or nature of business for which there is either an express or an implied by the Memorandum of Association of the Company or by these Articles authorization to be undertaken by the Company may be undertaken by the Directors at such time or times as they would deem fit and, furthermore, may retain by the Directors in abeyance, irrespective of whether such branch or nature of business has actually started or not if the Directors would deem fit not to start or not to continue with such branch or nature of business.
4. The Company shall have a first and paramount lien on every share for all moneys (whether presently payable or not) called or payable at a fixed time in respect of that share, and the Company shall also have a first and paramount lien on all shares standing registered in the name of a single person for all moneys presently payable by him or his estate to the Company; but the Directors may at any time declare any share to be wholly or in part exempt from the provisions of this Article. The Company's lien, if any, on a share shall extend to all dividends payable thereon.
5. All additional shares approved to be issued shall be offered to the members in proportion to the number of shares already held by them and such offer shall be made by notice fixing the number of shares which each member is entitled to be allotted and restricting the time in which the offer, if not accepted, shall be deemed as having been declined and after which time or on receipt of a declaration by the member to whom such a notice is given that he declines to accept the shares offered, the Directors may allot or otherwise dispose same to such persons and under such conditions as they would deem fit.
6. The Directors may, independently of any other provisions of the Articles, but subject to Art. 7 hereinbelow, in their absolute discretion and without assigning any reason therefor, decline to register the transfer of any share to any person of whom they do not approve, whether or not it is a fully paid share, and may also decline to register the transfer of any share on which the Company has a legal lien.

1. 3. Хозяйственная деятельность любого рода или характера, которую, согласно Учредительному договору Компании или настоящему Уставу, прямо или подразумеваемым образом разрешается вести Компании, может вестись Директорами в такое время или времена, какие они сочтут уместными, или же может быть оставлена Директорами в неопределенном состоянии независимо от того, была бы фактически начата хозяйственная деятельность такого рода или характера или нет, если бы Директора сочли уместным не начинать или не продолжать такую деятельность.
4. Компания обладает преимущественным правом удержания любой акции за все денежные средства (независимо от того, подлежат они выплате в данный момент или нет), требуемые к уплате или подлежащие выплате в установленный срок в отношении такой акции, а также преимущественным правом удержания всех акций, зарегистрированных на имя какого-либо одного лица за все денежные средства, подлежащие в данный момент выплате им или за счет его имущества Компании; однако Директора могут в любое время объявить любую акцию полностью или частично неподпадающей под действие положений настоящей Статьи. Право Компании на удержание той или иной акции, если таковое имеется, распространяется и на все дивиденды, подлежащие выплате по этой акции.
5. Все утвержденные к выпуску дополнительные акции предлагаются участникам пропорционально количеству уже находящихся у них акций, и такое предложение делается путем уведомления с указанием количества акций, которые имеет право получить каждый участник, и срока, по истечении которого данное предложение, если оно не будет принято, будет считаться отклоненным, и по истечении этого срока или же по получении от участника, которому было направлено такое уведомление, заявления об отказе принять предложенные акции Директора могут распределить такие акции или каким-либо иным образом распорядиться ими в пользу таких лиц и на таких условиях, какие они сочтут уместными.
6. Независимо от любых других положений настоящего Устава, но при условии соблюдения положений нижеизложенной Статьи 7, Директора могут по своему собственному усмотрению и не приводя никаких доводов для обоснования отказаться зарегистрировать передачу любой акции любому лицу, которая ими не санкционируется, независимо от того, является ли эта акция полностью оплаченной или нет, и могут также отказаться зарегистрировать передачу любой акции, которую Компания имеет законное право удерживать.

The drive to the Malt Mill is normally by electric motor and the main drive is from motor pulley (3) to the combination pulley (4) keyed on to the bottom fixed roll (24), transmission being by means of endless vee ropes (6).
On the combination pulley (4) a laminated vee rope drive is taken from the smaller pulley to a pulley (5) keyed on to the fixed roll (22). Another pulley (10) is fitted to the bottom fixed roll (24) and an "all round" flat laminated belt drives the detachers (78) and feed roll pulley (11) tension pulley (135) and deflecting pulley (134). The latter two pulleys are mounted on ball bearings. (Ensure the belt is tensioned correctly.)
The main drive is totally enclosed by a sheet metal panelled, aluminium framed guard (8) fitted with a hinged access door in which a lock is provided. Also included is a bolted removable panel. The all round drive can be tensioned by means of the tension gear and pulley (135), the removable panel has to be taken off to give access.
The top and bottom sets of rolls are each fitted with a pair of machine cut single helical gears (26) specially designed to pen-hit movement of the pivot rolls (23 and 25). Both sets of gears are encased by a split aluminium gear case. The bottom half (27) of the gear case acts as an oil reservoir for the lubrication of the helical gears whilst the top half (28) of the gear case has an oil return unit (29) fitted to prevent oil from escaping from the gear case via roll spindle.
3. FEED ROLL AND CUT-OFF SLIDE ASSEMBLY
The feed roll (44) is fluted to give a continuous even supply of malt to the top rolls and the rate of feed of malt is regulated by means of a quadrant (47). Movement of this quadrant is actuated by means of an adjusting screw (157) and tile, movement can be read on an ivorine scale (160) from the scale pointer (161) which is attached to the quadrant shaft (48).
A feed roll cut-off slide (S9) is incorporated to totally isolate the supply of malt to the Malt Mill.
The feed roll is brought into position by moving the clutch lever (46) to the "in" position (point nearest, to main frame (2)), arid this engages the four jaw clutch driver (150) with the four jaw clutch combined with drive pulley (151) which is connected to the all round drive. Simultaneously, by means of levers, etc., the feed roll cut-off slide is opened. Conversely, by disengaging the four jaw clutch driver, i.e. moving clutch lever to "out" position, the feed roll stops rotating and the cut-off slide closes, providing an instantaneous and positive cut-off, thus eliminating any possible malt dribble.

Натяжение кругового привода может осуществляться посредством натяжного механизма и шкива (135); при этом для обеспечения доступа к механизму съемную панель необходимо снять.
Как верхний, так и нижний комплекты вальцов снабжены парой нарезанных на металлорежущем станке одинарных косозубых цилиндрических зубчатых колес (26), специально предназначенных для обеспечения возможности для движения поворотных вальцов (23 и 25). Оба комплекта зубчатых колец заключены в алюминиевый корпус с плоскостью разъема. Нижняя половина (27) коробки передач функционирует в качестве масляного резервуара для смазки косозубых цилиндрических зубчатых колес, тогда как верхняя половина (28) коробки передач оснащена масловозвратным устройством (29), служащим для предотвращения утечки масла из коробки передач через шпиндель вальца.
3. УЗЕЛ ПИТАЮЩЕГО ВАЛЬЦА И ОТСЕЧНОЙ ЗАДВИЖКИ
Питающий валец (44) снабжен канавками для обеспечения непрерывной равномерной подачи солода на верхние вальцы, а скорость подачи солода регулируется посредством зубчатого сектора (47). Данный зубчатый сектор приводится в движение регулировочным винтом (157) и плиткой, и это движение можно считать со шкалы цвета слоновой кости по стрелке (161), прикрепленной к валу зубчатого сектора (48).
Предусмотрена отсечная задвижка питающего вальца (89), которая служит для полного прекращения подачи солода в дробилку.
Питающий валец устанавливается в рабочее положение путем перевода рычага сцепной муфты (46) в положение "in" ("вкл.") (положение, ближайшее к основной станине (2)), при котором происходит сцепление ведущего элемента четырехкулачковой муфты (150) с четырехкулачковой муфтой, соединенной с приводным шкивом (151), который, в свою очередь, соединен с круговым приводом. Одновременно посредством рычагов и др. устройств открывается отсечная задвижка питающего вальца. И наоборот, при расцеплении ведущего элемента четырехкулачковой муфты, т. е. при установке рычага управления муфтой в положение "out" ("откл."), питающий валец перестает вращаться, и отсечная задвижка закрывается, обеспечивая мгновенную и положительную отсечку и, тем самым, устраняя всякую возможность просачивания солода в дробилку.
