The granite of the NE talus presents a relatively well-defined geological structure and a flux schisosisty running almost N-S and subvertically, dips of 85º to 90º and dip directions of 110º to 290º, and areas of shear of different sizes, with backfills of breccias and cataclasites associated with them and with a thickness between some several centimetres and a metre. There are three fault systems, with sizes measured in hectometres and kilometric dimensions. The clearest and largest is F1, which runs in a N-S direction and has subvertical dips; these are faults of considerable longitude and with quite reduced spacing between them (20-60m), which are normally backfilled with cataclastic granite. There is in addition a second system (F2) which runs in a NNE direction and is also subvertical and with greater spacing than the aforementioned system. There is also a third system (F3), which has a subparallel course to that of the talus and with dips from 20º to 30º towards the mine; this final system, which is less visible, displays backfills of breccias and cataclasites. The lesser fractures together define systems which coincide with the aforementioned schistosisity, shears or faults, although a greater variability in its orientations can be observed, and there are also secondary fracture systems which have different directions and dips according to the area in question.

The heart of Lugo, the ancient Lucus Augusti, is surrounded by a Roman wall that is more than two kilometres in circumference. Whoever visits the beautiful medieval walls that are preserved in many European cities will be amazed by the enormity of this unique monument. This impressive urban fortress, one of the largest in the Hispania of its time, is today the only one whose perimeter is completely preserved in the three continents throughout which the territory of the Roman Empire extended. For this reason, on 30th November, 2000, UNESCO took the decision to register Lugo’s wall within the list of monuments declared WORLD HERITAGE SITES. But this is not the only important evidence of the Roman presence in Lugo. The remains of the Roman baths, the foundations of Ponte Vella (Old Bridge), and especially the late-Roman temple of Bóveda, located 14 kilometres from the city, are simple features which traditionally merited the attention of the curious traveller. In recent decades, continuous archaeological excavations have revealed many other remains of great interest which today can be viewed through various open air archaeological viewing points, or in small museums which exhibit the most important finds in situ: the noble domus known as the Mosaics House, some tombs and a cultic fountain in the St. Roque Archaeological Centre, and an exceptionally well-preserved temple of Mithra that is attached to another house, which in Lugo we call the Domus do Mitreo (the Mithraeum Domus). In order to understand the wall and Lugo’s Roman past, the traveller can visit the Wall Interpretation Centre located in Praza do Campo (Market Square), where they can also obtain a special and extensive booklet in which the wall and other monuments and archaeological remains from that time are explained. But there is even more to Lugo than this.

In addition, our Estrella Galicia beer is the only beer sold at this well-known concert hall with its capacity for 1000 people.
In central Manchester we have included Estrella Galicia custom decoration on the terraces of the Double Tree by Hilton hotel. This incorporation reinforces our Premium positioning in the English market and gives us greater visibility.
One of the UK's largest distributors, A&A Wines, visited our factory with two of our customers in London, Jamón Jamón and Donde. All this was completed with a wide variety of groups that were in charge of livening up the days. SON Estrella Galicia live music was the lead player and soundtrack during the tasting of a menu prepared for the attendees.

FIVE KEY POINTS ON SERGEY KOVALEV VS. ANDRE WARD
The undefeated Russian, Sergey Kovalev (30-0-1 with 26 KOs), who holds the WBO-IBF Light Heavyweight Title Championship and WBA Super Championship, will defend his three belts this Saturday against the also undefeated and former twice king of the Super Middleweights, Andre Ward. The bout will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and for Kovalev it will not just be any other fight.
"Krusher" is up against someone who is perhaps the most complicated rival of all those he has already faced and this will be a true clash of styles: the Russian´s destructive power against the American´s technical skill. Ward is a swift, elusive opponent who skillfully manages his technical resources. Faced with such a challenge, Kovalev must take into account the following key points if he wishes his reign to continue.
RAMP UP THE PACE EARLY ON
This fight has no unforeseen mysteries. Kovalev has his power and Ward will resort to his own power in order to avoid it. In that scenario, at the beginning Ward will wait to adapt his script to the Russian´s strategy. That´s why Kovalev in those first episodes will have the opportunity to ramp up the pace early on and surprise Ward with all his powerful artillery. If Kovalev wants to go for the knock out, he'll have to go the whole hog from the offset.

Exiles are fertile ground for the proliferation of clichés, false dichotomies and simplistic archetypes. To the vertigo of understanding personal tragedies from the outside can be added the difficulty of finding a place for those transported in a history of a culture that we still principally understand according to national criteria: where should we place, in a history of national music, those who were expelled from the nation? How to we integrate their music into the histories we already know or how do we forge other stories? In the case of the Spanish composers exiled after the Civil War, the ignorance in which a great part of their production still resides does not help either. This CD recording of three works by one of those composers, Salvador Bacarisse (the concerto for violoncello and orchestra in A minor op. 22, concertante caprice for violin and orchestra op. 70, and the fourth concerto for piano and orchestra op. 88) therefore suggests an interest that goes beyond the recovery of forgotten repertoires. It will help, above all, to render our understanding of the music of the exiled more complex, richer in nuances, less replete in clichés and simplifications.
The trope on which our vision of Bacarisse has been based for decades is that of exile as rupture, as imposed sterility in the exile being deprived of his or her key foundation: the nation. In La música española después de Manuel de Falla/Spanish Music After Manuel de Falla (1962), Manuel Valls praises Bacarisse for the “very fine and mordacious musical talent” displayed by him during the years of the Republic, but he regrets that exile has rendered his work (of which he expressly cites the fourth concerto for piano) “dull and devoid of colour.” In 1970, in La música de la España contemporánea/The Music of Contemporary Spain, Tomás Marco names Bacarisse amongst the exiles who “went into exile and stagnated”. In his 1983 Historia de la música española/History of Spanish Music, he refers to him once again as an example of a career destroyed by exile, since his music “does not evolve” after leaving Spain. Much of the historiographical outlook of Valls and Marco is rooted in a certain anxiety in overcoming what is considered backward in Spanish music by seeking to fully incorporate it in the currents of European music. It is therefore understandable that Bacarisse, who never showed an interest in the currents that flourished after the Second World War, was not considered of interest for constructing a narrative of Spanish music understood as a continuous advance towards the avant-garde and progress. Even projects that regard Bacarisse sympathetically and have tried to recover his work with the return of democracy are based on the idea that he is a composer frustrated by exile, unlike others who attained personal and creative maturity outside Spain, such as Roberto Gerhard or Rodolfo Halffter.
Some aspects of Bacarisse's biography and trajectory justify these interpretations. Born in Madrid in 1898 from a marriage between a French jeweller and a Zaragozan girl, the young Bacarisse studied Law, Philosophy and Arts at Madrid Central University, and piano and composition at the Conservatory in the same city, where, in Conrado Del Campo´s class, he meets Fernando Remacha and Julián Bautista, who later on would be colleagues in the Group of Eight. In 1923, his symphonic poem La nave de Ulises/The Ship of Ulysses wins the National Music Prize, failing to have its premiere on the announced date when the instrumentalists refuse to perform it. This is the first scandal – in many ways a classic modernist scandal (in the vein of The Rite of Spring or the Skandalkonzert of the Second Viennese School) – which confirms Bacarisse as a revolutionary composer, too avant-garde for the Madrid of the time; an enfant terrible. He is confirmed as such. In the next ten years, his appointment as artistic director of Union Radio Madrid, on which he promotes contemporary Spanish music; his presentation, along with seven other young composers as part of the Group of Eight in 1930; and his controversial participation in the National Board of Music and Lyrical Theatres during the Second Republic.

The interior designer Sandra Soler tells us in her own words how she chose Topcret Microcement to coat the floors and walls of the Vioko ice cream shop in Barcelona.
Sandra Soler created Mésdisseny 10 years ago, a very personal interior design studio whose objective has always been informed by the desire to be a point of reference in the field. Sandra is a specialist in challenges, in being able to simplify the complex and to turn chaos into something functional and beautiful at the same time. Her purpose is clear: to create spaces that provoke emotions. To do this, she knew that Topcret could find professionals who lived up to her aspirations.
The link between Sandra Soler and Topcret has led them to undertake great projects of considerable renown. Their potential has not only been evident in the interior design of House X. Their philosophy and savoir faire have also been reflected in the Vioko ice cream project in the Barcelona neighbourhood of El Born (Spain). Bringing this place to life from scratch was quite a challenge for both of them and could only end in sweet success. That was what she wanted to share herself in her own words.
The Vioko ice cream project was a great challenge for me. It was a matter of turning cold bank offices into an establishment selling ice cream and handcrafted chocolates. To the difficulty of transforming the space I had to add that posed by the room, which was U-shaped, since in the middle their was a stairwell used by the bulding´s residents which had to be integrated into the project.
At the time of this project, I was fortunate to have a great deal of freedom. The owners of the establishment left the transformation of the premises in my hands and did not set any specific guidelines as to how it should be. This is not to say that they did not participate in the decision-making process during the project's implementation, as they made some suggestions which were evidently included in the project.
