Native Swedish translator, living in England, with a Master's Degree in Translation.

I translate English-Swedish and Swedish-English, as well as working as a proofreader.

I have lived in England for the last 16 years. As well as having a Master's Degree in Translation I also have a thorough understanding of the Swedish culture as well as the British culture.

I am fully aware that translating is not simply about translating a text from one language into another language, there is so many cultural differences that you have to consider as well. Localisation is an essential part of a translation!


I have a strong interest in writing and proofreading. My Master's degree includes several other courses in Swedish and English, apart from the Master programme in Translation, for example: 90hp in English, 30 hp in Swedish, 15hp in Rhetoric, 15hp in Business English, 7,5 hp in Terminology and 7,5 hp in International contacts.

I speak Swedish at home and visit Sweden regularly.

Moreover, I have a solid background from the Travel Industry, where I, apart from working with travel related things, also worked with communication, information, education and airfares. I have an IATA certification and deep knowledge and understanding of Amadeus.
