I am a native English speaker with excellent Swedish skills, having lived in Sweden as a child for 11 years, attending high school in Stockholm and serving in the Swedish armed forces. I received my legal training at George Mason University School of Law, in Arlington, Virginia.

For the past two years I have worked as an attorney linguist, reviewing, translating, and summarizing business and legal documents from Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish into English. My responsibilities have included: Translating Swedish and Norwegian legal motions, court judgments, financial news articles, and business documents in a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigation; reviewing and summarizing financial documents in a Treasury Department investigation; and summarizing and translating Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish documents in pharmaceutical and antitrust cases.
