Source text - Bulgarian Аз съм щастливо момче, имало късмета да се роди в един от най-красивите и древни европейски градове - Созопол .Град, възникнал в края на пети век преди Христа, богат на история, богат на традиции, оставили отпечатък във впечатляваща архитектура. Като бях малък вървях по калдъръмените улици на родното ми градче, взирах се в старинните къщи и си представях как са били построени. Дървените им чардаци, уникалната архитектура – привличаха ме като магнит. Питах баба си и майка си защо има изоставени, порутени къщи, та нали те са нашето културно наследство?Всъщност градът ни е под изключителната закрила на ЮНЕСКО, защото всеки камък, всяка сграда в него носи вековна история. Първоначално това да си представям как бих реставрирал къщите, как бих ги построил, беше игра за мен, но колкото повече растях, толкова повече играта се превръщаше в стремеж.
Желанието и стремежът по естествен начин поставиха и целта - да уча архитектура .Цел, за чието постигане, знам много добре, е нужна перфектна организация и дисциплина .Точно на това ме научи спортът.
Тренирал съм академично гребане 3 години. Още когато бях на 8 години ходихме с моето семейство през уикендите до устието на река Ропотамо – безкрайно красиво, магнетично място, където морето и реката се срещат. Обичам морето, то е моята страст, то тече във вените ми. Там се научих да плувам и да греба, да „покорявам“ морето, доколкото това е възможно. А морето ме научи, че за да станеш част от него, трябва да полагаш систематични усилия, да се бориш, да не се отказваш. Участвал съм в много републикански състезания и съм печелил редица награди . Спортът и в частност - гребането ме научи на много неща, но най-вече как да подреждам времето и приоритетите си, когато имам цел, към която се стремя. Спортът ме научи и да работя в екип, да спазвам срокове, да комуникирам, да бъда част от цяло. През годините много хора се отнасяха скептично към паралелното занимание на спорт и учене, дори ме съветваха да прекратя спорта . Аз обаче вярвах и продължавам да вярвам, че за да е успешен човек, трябва не да елиминира това, което обича за сметка на друго нещо, което обича, а да съумее да ги съчетае и да извлече всички уроци. Така и направих и спортът не ми попречи да бъда приет в една от най-елитните гимназии в Бургас – Английската езикова гимназия. Сега, когато съм пред прага на дипломирането с гордост и удовлетворение мога да заявя, че една от мечтите ми е осъществена. Което ми дава увереност да продължавам смело да вървя напред.. От няколко години се занимавам с баскетбол и бодибилдинг – занимания, които ми дават сила, бързина и издръжливост, но и които ме научиха как да живея здравословно. За човек, който обича природата и хармоничния й баланс със съвременния урбанистичен свят, смятам, че това е много важно.
Обичам дългите разходки по созополските улици . Те ме поведоха и ме доведоха до най-важното ми решение в живота - да уча архитектура. Старинните сгради излъчваха енергия която обхващаше ума ми и сочеше пътя към изкуството , който аз поех хващайки молива в ръка .Моливът, който не хващах само вкъщи , а и в кабинета на един художник .Професор Георги Терзиев ,член на Съюзът на художниците в Българи и е основател на елитна школа, обучаваща бъдещи архитекти, графични и модни дизайнери, разчупващи стереотипа на националното и състезаващи се на световно ниво . За да бъде един архитект добър, не е достатъчно само да има идеи, трябва да умее да ги визуализира. Затова отидох при професор Георги Терзиев, исках да ме обучава най-добрият. Разказах му, че искам да творя, да проектирам, да създавам, но не само с ръце, но и с фантазия, с въображение и със сърце. цветна композиция. Важно е да се науча да мисля в пропорции, всеки ден надграждам познанията си, за да бъда готов за пътя, по който искам да поема. За да бъда подготвен.
Избрах да продължа образованието си в Англия , защото това е страната, дала на човечеството едни от най-добрите архитекти и е един от съвременните архитектурни лидери в света. А аз искам да се уча от най-добрите!
Translation - English I am a happy boy, who was lucky enough to be born in one of the most beautiful and ancient European towns - Sozopol. A town which arose at the end of the fifth century BC, rich in history and traditions, left their imprint in the imposing architecture. When I was a young boy I used to walk along the cobblestone streets within my home town, look steadily at the old houses and imagine how they were built. Their wooden verandas and remarkable architecture attracted my observation like a magnet. I asked my grandmother and my mother why houses had been abandoned. However they were our cultural heritage weren’t they? In fact our town is under the special protection of UNESCO because every stone and every building here contains century-old style of history. At first it was like a game to visualize how I would restore the houses and build them. But the more I grew up, the more the game turned into a peculiar aspiration.
Desire and aspiration naturally assigned the goal - to study architecture. I perfectly realize that my goal needs excellent organization and discipline. Sports taught me that.
I have trained academic rowing three years. When I was an 8-year-old boy my family and me used to go to Ropotamo River mouth in weekends - exceptionally beautiful and attractive place where the sea and the river met. I love the sea, it is my passion, it runs through my veins. I learned to swim and row there. I also learned to “rule" the sea as far as I could. The sea taught me that you should make systematic efforts, fight and not give up in order to be a part of it. I have taken part in many republican competitions and I have won a number of awards. Sports, and in particular rowing, taught me many things, but mostly how to manage my time and priorities when I have a goal to aspire to. Sports taught me to work in a team, meet deadlines, communicate and be a part of the whole. Many people were skeptic to my concurrent pursuits of sports and studying over the past years, they even advised me to terminate my sports engagements. But I believed and I still believe that you should not eliminate what you like in return for another thing you don’t like if you want to be a successful person. You should be able to combine and make the best use of them. So I did and sports was not an obstacle to be accepted as a schoolboy in one of the most renowned schools in Burgas - The English Language School. Now, when I am on the verge of graduating I can say proudly and satisfactorily that one of my dreams is done. That gives me the confidence to continue boldly to move forward. I have been practicing basketball and bodybuilding for several years. These activities give me strength, speed and resistance, but they also teach me how to live healthy. I think that is very important to someone who loves nature and its harmonious balance with the modern urban world.
I love the long walks along Sozopol streets. They took me and led me to the most important decision in all my life - to study architecture. Old buildings released energy which covered my head and indicated my way to the art, gripping the pencil in hand. The pencil which I did not grip at home and at the work-room of an artist called Professor Georgi Terziev, a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. He is also the founder of an elite school, educating the future architects, graphic and fashion designers, breaking the national stereotypes and competing around the world. A good architect should be able to visualize his/her ideas – it is not enough only to have ideas. That’s why I went to Professor Georgi Terziev as I wanted the best teacher. I told him that I wanted to create, design and make colour composition, not only with my hands but also with fantasy, imagination and wholeheartedly. It is important to learn to think in proportions and upgrade daily my knowledge in order to be ready for my future path. To be prepared.
I chose to continue my future education in England because it is the country that gave mankind some of the best architects and it is one of the leaders in contemporary architectural world. And I want to learn from the best!
