Source text - Russian Журналист Леонид Парфенов представил первый документальный фильм из трилогии "Русские евреи", который посвящен роли евреев в истории Российской империи.
По словам Леонида Парфенова, его фильм - о евреях в царской России, которые пошли по пути тесного контакта с русской культурой и интеграции.
Первая часть трилогии, озаглавленная "Фильм первый. До революции", выходит в прокат 14 апреля.
Картина рассказывает о том, как евреи порывали с традиционным укладом жизни и достигали успеха в больших городах, становясь знаменитыми русскими музыкантами, художниками и поэтами, но также сталкивались с притеснениями и насилием, в конечном счете встав в авангард борьбы с царской властью.
Режиссер всех трех фильмов - регулярно работающий с Парфеновым - Сергей Нурмамед. Первая картина снималась в России, Украине, Молдавии, США и Израиле.
В фильме используется большое количество графики и анимации: с помощью техники захвата движения авторы заставили "говорить" портреты и фотографии исторических лиц.
Таким образом, Александр I как будто сам читает указ о фамилиях для евреев, Петр Столыпин рассказывает о бедственном положении дел за чертой оседлости, а Максим Горький с острова Капри порицает печально знаменитое дело Бейлиса.
Работа над вторым и третьим фильмами еще продолжается. Следующие две части трилогии будут рассказывать о 30-летнем периоде "советской юдофилии", который авторы условно ограничили 1948 годом, и юдофобии, прекратившейся, по мысли создателей фильма, с распадом СССР.
После предпремьерного показа некоторые из первых зрителей фильма задавали Парфенову вопросы о том, почему картина рисует процесс ассимиляции евреев в столь позитивном, по их мнению, ключе и не рассказывает подробно об истоках государственного антисемитизма в России.
На это автор картины ответил, что снимать фильм о последствиях наличия одной государственной религии, земельных вопросах и конкуренции в торговле означало бы снимать фильм о том, что "представляло разницу", а ему хотелось сконцентрироваться на том, "что объединяло". По его словам, он изначально выбрал своей темой ассимиляцию евреев.

Source text - English Trade, when accompanied by appropriate regulation, can facilitate the transition to a green economy by fostering the exchange of environmentally friendly goods and services (including environmentally sound technologies) and by increasing resource efficiency and generating economic opportunities and employment. In order to contribute to poverty eradication, the additional wealth generated by international trade should provide income opportunities to reduce inequalities, rather than exacerbate them.
The transition to a green economy, in turn, has the potential to create enhanced trade opportunities by opening new export markets for environmental goods and services, by increasing trade in products certified for sustainability and promoting certification-related services, and by greening international supply chains. The adoption of more resource- and energy-efficient production methods as part of green economy measures has an important role to play in securing access to, and long-term competitiveness in, international markets.
The meeting of global environmental leaders at Rio+20 has initiated a shift of focus, from the potential risk of trade protectionism associated with green economy policies, towards improving the trade performance of developing countries as an additional effect of, and motivation for, the implementation of green economy policies. As a result, a green economy is increasingly seen as a gateway to new opportunities for trade, growth and sustainable development.
Yet, while a shift to more sustainable trade practices may advance economic and social development, achieving such a shift will also require effective policies to mitigate the adverse impacts that often arise from trade, including pollution and emissions from transport, increased pressure on natural resources for production and processing, and social marginalisation. Addressing these effects, reducing income inequalities and improving the livelihoods of local populations, as well as using environmentally sound technologies and processes are key elements for improving the sustainability of international trade.
