15 years ago, BeBe entered the world of bespoke tailoring, all thanks to Miss Be who gathered up a handful of her relatives familiar with the craft, and set up shop. Having been disenchanted by the level of quality and service provided by other tailors in town, the sole intention of Miss Be and her team was to create the perfect garment for every customer that walked in through their doors. And that they did. So well in fact, that the name ‘BeBe Tailors’ quickly spread from one mouth to the other, that a move to bigger premises seemed like the next logical step. 11 Hoang Dieu St. then became the site of BeBe1 today.
But that was only the beginning. Over the years, with each recommendation, the number of customers grew, and as did BeBe alongside them. TripAdvisor and Facebook played a huge role in spreading word-of-mouth throughout the online community, attracting those looking up tailors in Hoi An. BeBe managed to stand out in the sea of results, and with the increasing demand, the flagship store, BeBe1, could no longer cope. So for 1 year, I travelled North America, meeting the leaders and followers of the men’s rights movement.
그래서 2년동안 북미를 여행하며 남성 권리 운동단체의 수장들과 회원들을 만나고 다녔습니다.
I spent anywhere from two hours up to eight hours , interviewing each individual men’s rights activist, also known as MRA.
남성 권리 운동가들, 또는 MRA들을 취재하는데 짧게는 2시간에서 길게는 8시간까지 소요되었죠.
And I filmed 44 people total.
총 44명을 취재할 수 있었습니다.
And there is an important rule in documentary film making, As an interviewer, you do not interrupt.
다큐멘터리 영화를 제작할 때에는 꼭 지켜야 할 규칙이 하나 있습니다. 취재를 진행하는 사람으로서, 절대로 중간에 끼어들지 않는다는 것입니다.
So I’m asking questions, and I’m getting their full life story. and in the moment I didn't realize but now looking back I can see

I was in my local Denver bike shop and a young summer employee said,“Can I help?” and I said “Yeah, can the frame of an older Gary Fisher mountain bike start to flex and bend enough that it causes the rear break to rub?”
He said “Well, disk brakes need regular adjustments” I said “I,,, know that. and in fact I do my reg. break adjustments”
He said “ Oh well, then your rotor’s bent”
I said, “Yeah my rotor’s not bent. I know a bent rotor”
With condescension he said “Well, what do you want me to do ?”
I said “ You could answer my question”
At which point Kyle, the manager of the shop stepped in. He’s such a sweetheart.
He said “ I think you are probably right, let me ask you a question. Do you only get a chirp coming from that rear break when you’re pulling hard uphill?”
I said “Yes, exactly”
He said, “Yeah that’s frame fatigue”

그러나 직원이 “아 그럼 라우터가 휘었나 보네요”라고 말헀죠.
저는 “아니요 라우터는 안 휘었어요. 라우터가 휘면 제가 알거든요”
그가 거들먹거리면서 말하길 “그럼 제가 뭘 해드리면 되는데요?”라고 말했죠.
그래서 저는 답했습니다. “제가 물어본 거에 답이나 해줄래요?
그때 가게 매니저인 카일이 들어왔죠. 아 카일은 정말 친절한 사람이에요.
카일이 말했습니다 “손님 말이 맞습니다. 질문 하나만 하죠. 후방 브레이크에서 오르막길을 올라갈 때만 삐걱거리는 소리가 나나요?”
저는 대답했죠 “ 네 맞아요”
카일이 답했습니다 “ 그럼 프레임 문제가 맞습니다”
