I am a Portuguese and Spanish to English translator, with three years experience as a freelance translator. I live in the UK, but I have also lived in Salvador, Brazil and spent time in Buenos Aires and northern Spain.
I specialise in social sciences, history and cultural studies, and many of my translations have been reports and studies for UK university departments. For three years, I worked as an EFL teacher in South Korea, so I also consider language teaching, education and pedagogy to be a specialist subject. I also love music, with a big interest in Brazilian Tropicalismo, as well as literature, travel and hiking.
