Sebagai tindak lanjut kesepakatan antara Presiden Joko Widodo dan Kanselir Angela Merkel tahun 2016 mengenai peningkatan hubungan bilateral, Pemerintah Indonesia dan Jerman akan jajaki pembentukan nota kesepahaman kerja sama di bidang maritim dan pendidikan vokasi.
Hal tersebut disampaikan oleh Direktur Jenderal Amerika dan Eropa, Muhammad Anshor, usai memimpin delegasi Indonesia pada Pertemuan kedua Bilateral Steering Committee (BSC) Indonesia – Jerman di Jakarta, tanggal 17 April 2017.
"Sesuai mandat dari pemimpin kedua negara tahun lalu, Bilateral Steering Committee telah melakukan review atas implementasi Deklarasi Jakarta, dan memberikan rekomendasi mengenai bidang kerja sama dan kegiatan mendatang," lanjut Dirjen Amerop. "Hasil review dan rekomendasi ini dituangkan dalam Joint Report yang akan diserahkan kepada Presiden Indonesia maupun Kanselir Jerman."
Deklarasi Jakarta merupakan dokumen kemitraan komprehensif Indonesia-Jerman di bidang politik, keamanan dan pertahanan, perdagangan, investasi dan kerja sama pembangunan, serta kerja sama sektoral seperti kesehatan, riset dan teknologi serta budaya, yang diluncurkan bersama oleh Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono dan Kanselir Angela Merkel pada tahun 2012.
Kedua delegasi menyepakati bahwa implementasi Deklarasi Jakarta telah berjalan dengan baik, dan menekankan prioritas baru yang menjadi kepentingan kedua pihak yaitu maritim, pendidikan vokasi dan energi.
Jerman merupakan mitra perdagangan Indonesia yang terbesar di kawasan Eropa, dengan nilai perdagangan rata-rata 6 milyar dollar per tahun dalam lima tahun terakhir. Sedangkan total investasi langsung dari Jerman di Indonesia mencapai 685 juta dollar dalam periode 2010-2016.

As the follow up of the agreement between President Joko Widodo and Chancellor Angela Merkel in 2016 about the improvement of bilateral relation, Indonesian and German Government will begin the forming of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of cooperation in the field of maritime and vocational education.
This matter was delivered by the General Director of America and Europe, Muhammad Anshor, after leading Indonesian delegation of the second meeting of Indonesia-Germany Bilateral Steering Committee (BSC) in Jakarta, on 17th of April 2017.
“In accordance with the mandate from the leader of both countries last year, Bilateral Steering Committee has done a review on the implementation of Jakarta Declaration, and given recommendations about the cooperation fields and activities in the future,” the General Director of America and Europe continued. “The result of the review and recommendation is set forth in the Joint Report which will be given to the President of Indonesian and Chancellor of Germany.”
Jakarta Declaration is the document of Indonesia-Germany comprehensive partnership in the field of politics, security and defense, trade, investment and infrastructure cooperation and sectoral cooperation such as health, research as well as technology and culture, which was jointly released by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Chancellor Angela Merkel in 2012.
Both delegations agreed that the implementation of Jakarta Declaration has run well, and emphasized the new priority that became the interest of both parties, which is maritime, vocational education and energy.
Germany is Indonesia’s biggest trading partner in European region, with the trade value in average 6 billion dollar per year in the past five years. Meanwhile, the total direct investment from Germany in Indonesia was reaching 685 million dollars in 2010-2016 period.

Dua perancang busana Indonesia, Rani Hatta dan Bateeq telah mempertunjukkan koleksi terbarunya dalam ajang 2017 Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo kemarin (22/03).
Partisipasi Rani Hatta dan Bateeq di Tokyo tahun ini menandai tahun kelima kolaborasi Jakarta Fashion Week dengan Japan Fashion Week Organisation selaku penyelenggara Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo.
Kedua organisasi fashion yang menaungi para perancang busana di Indonesia dan Jepang tersebut memiliki tujuan yang sama, yaitu mendukung pengembangan industri fashion di negara masing-masing dan mempromosikan para perancang busana ke panggung internasional.
Rani Hatta merupakan perancang busana ready-to-wear yang meluncurkan labelnya sejak tahun 2013. Ciri khas rancangannya adalah minimalisme yang berelemen modern. Rani Hatta juga telah mempertunjukkan busananya di Bangkok pada tahun 2016.
Bateeq adalah label busana yang mengedepankan inovasi batik modern dengan memperhatikan skema warna yang menarik serta motif unit yang diinspirasikan oleh khasanah kekayaan budaya Indonesia.
Fashion Week Tokyo yang merupakan ajang peragaan busana terbesar di Jepang diselenggarakan setahun dua kali pada bulan Maret dan Oktober dan dikunjungi oleh tak kurang dari 50.000 pengunjung setiap musimnya. Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo 2017 diselenggarakan pada 20-15 April 2017 dan menampilkan koleksi musim gugur/dingin 2017-2018 dari 53 label fashion.

Two Indonesian fashion designers, Rani Hatta and Bateeq have shown their latest collection in 2017 Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo event yesterday (22/03).
Rani Hatta and Bateeq’s participation in Tokyo this year is signifying the fifth collaboration of Jakarta Fashion Week with Japan Fashion Week Organization as the organizer of Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo.
Both fashion organizations that houses fashion designers in Indonesia and Japan have the same purpose, which is supporting the development of fashion industry in each own country and promoting fashion designers to the international stage.
Rani Hatta is a ready-to-wear fashion designer who released her label since 2013. The characteristic of her design is minimalism which has a modern element. Rani Hatta also has shown her fashion in Bangkok in 2016.
Bateeq is a fashion label which accentuates modern batik innovation by concerning to an interesting color scheme and unit motive which is inspired by the rich Indonesia culture.
Fashion Week Tokyo, which is the biggest fashion show event in Japan, is organized twice a year on March and October and attended by no less than 50.000 visitors every season. Tokyo Amazon Fashion Week 2017 is organized on 20-15 April 2017 and shows 2017-2018 autumn and winter collections from 53 fashion labels.
