Bio
I was a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (German and French) for 35 years - 22 years as Head of Department - until taking early retirement in July 2017 to concentrate on my translation work, which I have also done for many years. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (FCIL). In addition, I set German examinations for the ISEB (Common Entrance Exam Board) in the UK, and I mark/assess GCSE German examinations.
