Bio

Since 2015, I have been working as a freelance translator (English- Burmese) for various clients and in different projects. Translating has become more of a passion than a job to me. My broad experience in many aspects of the translation process has taught me the importance of continual research and I enjoy the constant intellectual challenge that this profession offers.

What describes me best is my ability to translate in a well-written Burmese that sounds natural and professional whilst being, dare I say, elegant. I provide "certified translation" using 100% human translation- no CAT tool, no Machine Translation at all. As such, I am confident, indeed proud, to say that my work can compete with else's. Quality and reliability are of utmost importance to me and with each project I undertake, I guarantee high quality work delivered on deadline.

My expertise lies in the field of subtitle translation (English movies/series & Bollywood movies/series) and I’m always open to explore new areas of translation.I can offer expert translation of business documents such as annual reports, marketing texts, brochures, communications, newsletters, web content or presentation materials. Also,I am happy to take editing jobs.

My standard rate is 100 EUR/1000 words (0.1€/word) for general translation projects, 50 EUR/1000 words (0.05 €/word) for proofreading and 5 EUR/minute for subtitle translation.I offer discounts to regular clients, for large volumes and for charity/non-profit organisations. My daily capacity is 1500 words. However, I am very flexible in terms of working hours and workload.

If my service fits your needs, do feel free to get in touch. I can be reached either through this profile or at [email protected].
