Born in Ukraine, graduated from the Kiev National University by T.Shevchenko in 1987 with the degree of MA in English Philology, teacher of English, translator of English and Spanish.
Actively translating and interpreting since 1992, for many international projects developing in Ukraine, mainly translation of legal documents and technical documentation, oral interpretation during the negotiations with Ukrainian authorities
1995-2002 working as a personal assistant and translator to the General Manager of ABB representative office in Ukraine. Translation of administrative and financial documents, texts in public relations and communications, technical translations, interpreting during the meetings and negotiations, internal board meetings.
2002-2009 independent immigration to Vancouver, Canada, working in the field of travel and tourism with international clients, creating travel-related documentation in English; creating and teaching the Academic course in Travel and Tourism for Vancouver Central College.
2009 moved to Barcelona, Spain, actively working with various texts in Gastronomy, Winemaking, Hospitality business. Kept doing online translations for various platforms and clients.
2010 up to now have developed professional activity in food and wine business, obtained certifications in Wine Education as well as Master Executive in Hospitality and Restaurant Management. Spend a lot of time working with industry related texts in English, Spanish, Russian.
As of March 2022 I work as an official translator/interpreter for the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration of Spain, at the Reception Center of Ukraine Refugees in Barcelona.
In my free time I volunteer with the Red Cross as a translator/interpreter for Ukrainian refugees
