packaging industry we launched our
Innovation Centre on 30 April 2001 at the
Packaging Innovation Exhibition in the
UK. The Innovation Centre is a hub of
creativity, which, through a collaborative
approach with our sites, suppliers,
academia and knowledge outside of our
usual sphere, will add value for
customers, turning ideas into products.
Based within the YYY factory in
Germany, the new Innovation Centre is
already making waves within the industry
and offers our existing and new
customers an additional service. Our
commitment to growth through
innovation is demonstrated by the start
up of such an initiative.
On 15th May 2006 the Innovation Team in
co-operation with the employees of
XXX GmbH, started to
build the new Innovation Centre. With the
commitment of all involved the unique
ideas of the Innovation Team could be
realised. On 21 of July it was complete!
The Innovation Team invited the Directors
to see the new Centre, and employees
from XXX to the
opening party.
The process of managing this creativity
will be supported by software to enable
us to track ideas and develop them, with
a new level of confidence.
Translation - Polish Realizując naszą wizję zmian w branży opakowań, 30 kwietnia 2001 r. na Wystawie innowacji w branży opakowań w Wielkiej Brytanii zainaugurowaliśmy działalność naszego Centrum Innowacji. Centrum Innowacji to ośrodek działań kreatywnych, który we współpracy z naszymi zakładami, dostawcami, środowiskiem akademickim oraz przy wykorzystaniu wiedzy wykraczającej poza dziedzinę naszej działalności, będzie służyć klientom oraz pozwoli wprowadzać w życie nowe pomysły.
Zlokalizowane w obrębie fabryki YYY w Niemczech, nowe Centrum Innowacji już wywołuje poruszenie w całej branży oraz dostarcza dotychczasowym i nowym klientom dodatkowych korzyści. Ta inicjatywa jest rezultatem naszego dążenia do rozwoju poprzez innowacje. 15 maja 2006 r. za sparwą zespołu ds. innowacji oraz pracowników XXX GmbH, ruszyła budowa nowego Centrum Innowacji. Dzięki zaangażowaniu wszystkich stron nadzwyczajny pomysł zespołu innowacji mógł zostać wprowadzony w życie. 21 lipca przedsięwzięcie zostało ukończone! Zespół ds. innowacji zaprosił dyrekcje poszczególnych zakładów do zwiedzenia nowo otwartego centrum, a pracowników XXX - na przyjęcie inauguracyjne. Proces zarządzania kreatywnością będzie wspomagany przez oprogramowanie komputerowe, które umożliwi śledzenie pomysłów i ich rozwój oraz lepszą niż dotychczas ochronę danych.

Source text - Polish System już się opłaca – do X proc. oszczędności!
System wspierania procesów przetargowych funkcjonuje w Grupie XXX od września zeszłego roku. Na początku został uruchomiony w łódzkiej siedzibie firmy, gdzie realizowane są tzw. zakupy centralne dla całej Grupy. Obecnie system funkcjonuje w czterech spółkach holdingu. W najbliższym czasie system obejmie 100 proc. zakupów realizowanych przez Grupę XXX! W ten sposób holding toruje sobie drogę do czołówki krajowych firm wyznaczających standardy w zakresie przejrzystego dokonywania zakupów towarów i usług.
Rocznie spółki Grupy XXX wydają na zakup materiałów, urządzeń, usług i robót kwoty rzędu kilku miliardów zł. Co oznacza funkcjonowanie systemu dla Grupy XXX i jej kontrahentów? Dla XXX to przede wszystkim konkretne oszczędności finansowe i korzyści wizerunkowe, dla kontrahentów i partnerów – pewność jasnych i przejrzystych reguł obowiązujących podczas procesu przetargowego.
Już dzisiaj w oparciu o system w XXX YYY SA jest prowadzonych około 120 pełnych postępowań. W każde z nich, zgodnie z zasadą wielu oczu jest zaangażowanych od 10 do 15 osób. W zakończonych tzw. postępowaniach pełnych oszczędności kształtowały się na poziomie ok. X proc. w stosunku do cen katalogowych. W postępowaniach uproszczonych oszczędności były jeszcze większe i wyniosły średnio X proc. System umożliwia też prowadzenie elektronicznych licytacji. Tutaj dotychczasowe oszczędności przeszły najśmielsze oczekiwania i wyniosły aż… X proc.!, w stosunku do cen zamieszczanych w katalogach. Większość zakończonych licytacji dotyczyła sprzętu informatycznego kupowanego przez spółki XXX. Wszystkie spółki Grupy korzystają również z kolejnego narzędzia, jakim są aukcje, będące dogrywkami do przetargów otwartych. W tym wypadku średnia oszczędność, mierzona jako różnica ceny najniższej z zaproponowanych w przetargu a ostatecznie uzyskanej, wyniosła ok. X proc. (najwyższa różnica sięgnęła X proc.). Do tej pory przeprowadzono ponad 30 aukcji. Już dzisiaj dzięki aukcjom i elektronicznym licytacjom w XXX zaoszczędzono około X mln Y tys. zł. Przypomnijmy, że zakupy prowadzone w systemie aukcyjnym – jeszcze w okresie próbnym - i oszczędności w wyniku tego powstałe, umożliwiły sfinansowanie kosztu zakupu systemu przed oddaniem go do użytku! System pozwala na bieżąco monitorować wszystkie procesy i uzyskiwać zbiorcze raporty na temat jego funkcjonowania, w tym uzyskiwanych oszczędności.
System wspierania procesów przetargowych jest dzisiaj własnością XXX YYY SA, a zastosowanie w nim unikatowych na rynku rozwiązań sprawiło, że XXX rozpoczął procedurę zastrzeżenie systemu w urzędzie patentowym.
Translation - English The System Has Already Paid Off. Up to X per cent savings!
The Tender Support System has been running in the XXX Group since September last year. At first it was launched in the £ódŸ premises of the company, where the so-called central purchases for the whole group are being done. At the present moment, the system is working in four subsidiaries. And in the nearest future it is going to cover 100 per cent of the XXX Group’s purchases! This way the holding is paving its way to the group of domestic leaders, determining the standards in the area of transparent purchases of goods and services.
Every year, the companies of the XXX Group spend billions on materials, equipment, services and contractors’ work. What does such a system mean for the XXX Group and its contractors? For XXX, these are mainly countable savings and a better image. For partners and contractors – clear and transparent rules of tender processes.
Even today about 120 full tender proceedings are run with the support of the system. Each of them, in accordance with the rule of multiple review, involves 10 to 15 people. In the completed so-called full proceedings savings represented in average X per cent in relation to catalogue prices. In simplified proceedings, savings were even higher and reached X per cent in average. The system also enables online bidding. Here the savings exceeded our wildest expectations and amounted to as much as X per cent compared to catalogue prices. Most of the completed tenders related to IT equipment purchased by the XXX company. All subsidiaries also use another tool - biddings, supplementary to open tenders. In this case, an average saving, calculated as the difference between the lowest quote and the selected quote, amounted to X per cent (the highest difference reached X per cent). Until now, over 30 tenders have been completed. Even today, the supplementary and online biddings in XXX allowed to save approximately PLN XXX. Let us mention that the purchases run in the tender system, still in the trial period, as well as the resulting savings, enabled financing the system even before launching it! The system enables current monitoring of all processes and generate general reports on its performance, including the obtained savings.
At the present moment, the tender support system belongs to XXX YYY SA. Implementing some unique solutions into the system encouraged XXX to start the procedure of reserving the rights to the system at the patent office.
