Translation - Polish Equivalence is one of the most important terms when talking about translation. Many linguists believe that every translation is always equivalent and the translation that is not equivalent is not a translation. Both the original and the translation can be called an equivalent but only when each of them can be replaced in a specific situation. Dictionaries define equivalence as a technique that allows the interpreter to describe the same situation, referring to structural and stylistic devices that are completely different.
In translation studies it has been assumed that by the term equivalence one should understand the relation between the text of translation and the corresponding source text. Translation as a phenomenon can arouse various emotions in various people. They usually feel that there is a kind of insufficiency, as for them, the text seems to be degrading the original. In a translation one does not substitute one word with another because a specific word represents a number of referents and it rarely happens that the referents of the two words correspond to each other in two different languages.

Hello, if you are looking for a professional Polish-English or English-Polish translator or interpreter feel free to contact me. I translated legal and medical documents, emails, film trailers and academic theses. I am a Polish native speaker and a graduate of English Studies. I learned English in Poland and practised it in England while working there. Apart from doing translations I have been working as a teacher for more than 5 years. As a teacher I worked in Spain and in England. Currently, I'm working in Poland with academic students and give English lessons to individual students.
I also have 2 years of experience working at a customer service help desk where I was resolving customer service requests via phone calls and emails, providing efficient and prompt customer follow-up on unresolved issues, coordinating efforts with other support teams when necessary and educating customers on the products and training resources available.
One of the things that fascinates me is the human voice and a vast range of its uses, for example in acting, doing voiceover work or singing. In my spare time I compose and arrange music.
