Introduction
You have been invited to take part in this clinical research study because you have a condition called Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). To help you make an informed decision on whether or not to take part you need to understand what the study is for, what is involves and what benefits, risks and discomforts there may be. Once you have decided if you want to take part, you will be asked to sign the informed consent form. You will get a copy of the signed form.
Purpose of this study
You are being asked to participate in this research study because you have a condition called type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM, previously known as adult-onset diabetes). Insulin is a hormone that is produced by the body to regulate blood sugar (glucose).
