About Me

I have worked for 6 years as a freelance translator (English<>Russian) for a St. Petersburg translation agency and have got experience in different fields including primarily business and general law translations. Good understanding and expertise in many economical fields come from the relevant economic education (apart from linguistic one) and the experience gained during my work as a professional translator.

In 2011 I graduated with MA in Linguistics (English as the primary language) from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University (Belarus) and in 2010 with MA in Management from Auvergne University (IUP Management, Universite d’Auvergne, France). The latter is my second higher education master’s degree completed almost at the same time via Franco-Belorussian Institute of Management with training in France.

In spite of primarily business and law specialization, I’m still open to translations in any other general and social fields mentioned above as fields of expertise and those maybe not mentioned yet.

I’m especially interested in environmental translations. I’ve read and worked with a lot of authentic English documents on the subject and feel really interested and comfortable in the field.

Finally, I’m open to website localization projects. Besides my professional translation experience my basic website programming skills and some understanding of website promotion may be of use here.
