The steady pace of The Mooseman will alienate some and the simple, dark palette is a far cry from typical gaming fare. But then this isn’t a typical gaming experience.

Source text - English It draws from Russian myth to tell its story, and it’s not so much about the journey as the experiences you have along the way. You’ll meet spirits and gods, discover artefacts hidden from most human eyes and explore a variety of locations rendered in a striking and often very beautiful style.
This is also a game that’s often as engaging to hear as it is to look at. The sound design is exceptional, ranging from sparse echoes and snow-muffled footsteps to wheezing cellos, overtone singing and melancholic choirs.
It’s also often deeply disturbing: one particular section uses instruments to build the tension until a series of heart-stopping thuds herald the arrival of a terrible monster. It’s an incredible experience.
Translation - Ukrainian Сюжет гри ґрунтується на російській міфології, проте гра захоплює не так своєю історією, як емоціями, які ви відчуєте під час подорожі. На своєму шляху ви зустрінете духів і богів, знайдете артефакти, приховані від очей простих смертних, та відкриєте дивовижно красиві місця.
До того ж, в цю гру варто пограти хоча б заради саундтреку. Звуковий супровід тут просто неймовірний: віддалена луна переплітається з порипуванням снігу, присвистом віолончелей, і горловий спів приєднується до меланхолічного співу хору.
А ще звукові ефекти тут спроможні неабияк лякати: в певну мить музика починає наростати, аж поки ви не почуєте тупіт жахливого монстра, oо наближається до вас. Неймовірне відчуття.
