It is important to allocate time for the initial meetings in your Model Week. This time will be marked “Team” in your Model Week. Set aside time for the initial meetings so that you can spend enough time with each candidate. Also, keep sometime between each meeting to write up your notes and prepare for the next one.
The Initial Meeting forms the first part of the selection process, during which you can check the suitability of the prospect. It allows you to find out some basic facts about the prospect and provides you with an opportunity to pass on some basic information about the company, the job and future career to the candidate.
