Source text - English Among unselected patients presenting with acute chest pain to the emergency department, disease prevalence can be expected to be the following: 5-10% STEMI, 15-20% NSTEMI, 10% unstable angina, 15% other cardiac conditions, and 50% non-cardiac diseases. Several cardiac and non-cardiac conditions may mimic NSTE-ACS.
Conditions that should always be considered as differential diagnosis of NSTE-ACS, because they are potentially life-threatening but also treatable, include aortic dissection, pulmonary embolism and tension pneumothorax.
Echocardiography should be performed urgently in all patients with haemodynamic instability of suspected cardiovascular origin. Takotsubo syndrome has recently been observed more often as a differential diagnosis and usually requires coronary angiography to rule out ACS.

Source text - English To achieve a state of environmental sustainability, a framework or process is needed. Certain conditions have to be met and steps in the process toward ‘sustainability’ have to be made. The framework of sustainable development is the means for achieving sustainability.
So, in brief, “sustainability” refers to the goal and “sustainable development” is the path or framework to achieve it. As with the term “sustainability”, what is considered as a necessary path and time frame will vary amongst individuals.
Further, it must be emphasised that development is not synonymous with growth. Growth is about becoming quantitatively bigger; development on the other hand is about becoming qualitatively better.
Sustainable development, then, may be defined as the intentional means whereby humans strive towards sustainibility, the co-evolution of human and natural systems to enable adaptation to change indefinitely, which:
• Is based on qualitative development /improvement, not quantitative growth;
• Conserves and enhances natural capital stocks, which cannot sustainably be substituted by other forms of capital;
• Combines social equity in improving present quality of life with intergenerational equity in meeting the needs of the future; and
• Acknowledges cultural development and cultural diversity (as with biodiversity) as central to the adaptive process of realising sustainability.
Translation - Italian Per raggiungere uno stato di sostenibilità ambientale occorre stabilire un quadro generale o sviluppare un processo. Occorre soddisfare alcune condizioni e compiere alcuni passi nella transizione verso la «sostenibilità». Il quadro generale dello sviluppo sostenibile è il mezzo per raggiungere la sostenibilità.
Quindi, in breve, la «sostenibilità» si riferisce all'obiettivo, e lo «sviluppo sostenibile» è il percorso e il quadro per raggiungerlo. Così come con il termine «sostenibilità», ciò che viene considerato come percorso necessario e quadro temporale varierà in base agli individui.
Inoltre, è importante sottolineare che sviluppo non è sinonimo di crescita. La crescita ha a che fare con l'aumento quantitativo; lo sviluppo, invece, ha a che fare con il miglioramento qualitativo.
Lo sviluppo sostenibile, allora, può essere definito come il mezzo intenzionale con cui gli esseri umani cercano di raggiungere la sostenibilità, come la co-evoluzione di sistemi umani e naturali che permettono di adattarsi a un cambiamento perpetuo, il quale:
• è basato sullo sviluppo o miglioramento qualitativo e non sulla crescita quantitativa
• conserva e valorizza il patrimonio naturale, che non può essere sostituito in modo sostenibile da nessun’altra forma di patrimonio
• combina l'equità sociale, per migliorare la qualità di vita attuale, con l'equità intergenerazionale, per soddisfare i bisogni del futuro
• riconosce lo sviluppo e la diversità culturale (come la biodiversità), come elementi fondamentali del processo di adattamento per realizzare la sostenibilità.
