Source text - English In its most basic sense, the term contemporary art refers to art—namely, painting, sculpture, photography, installation, performance, and video art—produced today. Though seemingly simple, the details surrounding this definition are often a bit fuzzy, as different individuals’ interpretations of “today” may widely and wildly vary. Therefore, the exact starting point of the genre is still debated; however, many art historians consider the late 1960s (the end of modern art, or modernism) to be an adequate estimate.

Hello,
I'm Tiitus, a full-time freelancer. I'm a native Finnish/Swedish speaker from Helsinki, Finland, with excellent written and spoken English.
I've been a translator for many years. I have a great deal of experience translating from Finnish to English and vice versa. My recent experience includes legal and business documents, education and bank reports; as well as research papers, news articles, presentations, and creative projects, such as magazine articles, photograph captions, and novels (fiction).
I am passionate about languages and communication and as I have worked in a variety of roles where I can utilise these skills, I can provide every project to success. I am fully aware that technology is an essential part of translation + interpreting and it is critically important to be up to date in order to provide to my clients the best possible service. Software I often work with includes all Microsoft applications, Wordpress, and WPS.
