I have a master's degree in translation, but my language skills helped me a get a foot in the IT industry instead. Gradually I specialised in system administration and was mainly responsible for Microsoft Exchange and Sharepoint, IBM Lotus Notes and various other groupware applications.In my heart I never gave up translation though, and in 2018 it felt like I was at the end of the road in IT, so I quit the job and started working as a freelance translator instead.Besides working knowledge of IT, I also have extensive experience in photography, the outdoors life and botany and all things nature.I am a native Finnish speaker, but I lived in the UK for five years and currently live in Sweden. This background gives me excellent language skills and I can translate between all these language pairs.
