Bio

I might be questioned about the reasons why I have that wide spectrum in the working field I mentioned in the profile and CV. Let me please talk about my story here in short.

I have experience in multinational chemical corporation and international business as an employee.

During the first year, I was a staff in the overseas sales and international business of a manufacturing company made industrial tapes, especially pressure sensitive adhesive items. It also had an overseas manufacturing site and sales offices as well. I translated so different document day by day. Please refer to below documents:

 - technical data (R&D);

 - management related document (QM/QC/QA) - specification, corrective action report;

 - branch annual accounting/financial reports;

 - and trade related documents and email; and

 - NDAs

After I decided to come to Vietnam, my part had been changed to management department. Here, I had much more translation jobs with high volume. Please refer to below documents also:

 - ERP localization (English<>Korean)

 - estate investment agreement and its amendment;

 - lease contract for the new business entity and related document;

 - lease contract for employee accomodation;

 - machines and manufacturing facilities purchase contract; and

 - reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual)

Even though my translation history and the area is rather serious, I am so into some fun stuff like beauty/cosmetics, cooking/food, shopping/fashion, tourism/travel etc..

I distinguish the purpose of the source that I need to translate and I use different 'language' suitable for its purpose. I call it purpose-oriented translation and I believe it's very important to make the end client satisfied.
