My story
A language... The story of the world, the history of nations, the magical gifts that have been transferred from generations to generations.
I have been in love with languages for as long as I remember.
I believe that once you master a foreign language it is like acquiring another identity. We can fully immerse ourselves into it if we allow the language to penetrate our soul.
This is how I have always learned. Through absorbing and feeling the culture, the vocabulary, the slang, the traditions... through mixing with a great bunch of international friends that I was always surrounded with.
After Russian as a mother tongue, French has become my second native language at a very early stage of my life. Then English followed. And now I can confidently say that I am trilingual. Fully in identity and spirit.
Translation and interpreting activity was something that followed me alongside my journey from university. First as side projects, and then gradually becoming an independent occupation.
Having worked in a great number of industries such as banking and finance, HR & recruitment, marketing and fashion has added a great value and depth to my translation work.
Creative writing is my passion and I also teach it, hence why I was excited to complete a number of creative assignments, for clients predominantly in the marketing aspect of writing as well as copy on products, services and creating brand materials as well as brand stories.
My experience within banking and financial services has allowed me to gain expert and in depth knowledge that has helped me with my business clients and finance-related assignments.
