Source text - Russian С целью национальной безопасности и сохранения здоровья граждан России предлагаем расширить перечень контролируемых показателей качества «Растворы для инъекций» и включить в него контроль осмотической активности и локальной агрессивности для подкожно-жировой клетчатки. В качестве теста на локальную фармацевтическую агрессивность лекарства мы предлагаем его инъекцию под кожу поросенка [1]. Бесследное рассасывание инфильтрата, завершающееся через несколько минут после его инъекции, позволяет заключить об отсутствии у лекарства локальной фармацевтической агрессивности и о безопасности его инъекционного введения в подкожно-жировую клетчатку и в другие ткани. Отсутствие рассасывания медикаментозного инфильтрата, усиление симптомов его воспаления (локальной гипертермии, гиперемии, отечности и болезненности) в первые 6–10 минут после инъекции и последующее развитие постинъекционного некроза на месте инъекции позволяет заключить о наличии у лекарства чрезмерно выраженного агрессивного действия, о низком качестве лекарства и о наличии у него способности вызывать постинъекционный некроз и абсцесс.
Translation - English This study demonstrates that additional parenteral quality test may reduce necrosis and abscess incidence in patients. We suggest expanding the number of tests with osmolarity determination and test for potential damage to subcutaneous fat. The latter can be tested in pigs [1]. The potential damage test is negative if interstitial fluid accumulation in tissue disappears during several minutes after injection and therefore it is safe to inject the drug in subcutaneous fat and other tissues. If doctor can see fluid accumulation accompanied by inflammation symptoms (heat, redness, swelling and pain) during 6-10 minutes after injection and then results in necrosis, the test shall be considered positive. It means that the drug of low quality and has potential to cause necrosis and abscess.

Source text - English People who lose weight and keep it off can stabilize or even improve their cardiometabolic risk factors compared to people who regain weight, finds a new study led by researchers from the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts.
After a successful one-year intensive lifestyle weight-loss intervention, maintaining the weight loss (as opposed to regaining it) was better for all cardiometabolic risk factors assessed three years later, including HDL cholesterol, triglyceride, fasting glucose and glycated hemoglobin concentrations, blood pressure, and waist circumference.

Поэтому ученые из Центра изучения питания в Тафтсе решили изучить влияющие на это факторы и провести исследование, в ходе которого пациенты с сахарным диабетом второго типа и ожирением должны были в течение года сбросить вес и сохранить полученный результат. Через три года исследователи обнаружили, что пациенты, не набравшие вес, были менее подвержены сердечно-сосудистым заболеваниям. Также у них снизился уровень холестерина, триглицеридов, гемоглобина, связанного с глюкозой, и общий уровень сахара в крови. Помимо этого, у тех, кто поддерживал вес, снизилось давление и уменьшился объем талии.
