As a bilingual speaker of Korean and
English, I have always enjoyed putting my language skills to use, especially in
facilitating the communication between two cultures.

I have extensive work experience as a
conference interpreter and translator for over 20 years, and I have recently
grown interested in subtitle translating. I’m working freelance on various translation
projects, mainly YouTube videos (Currently my CV which contains my work list is
too large for the file to be uploaded. My work list is available upon request).

While I enjoy working both as an
interpreter and as a translator of print materials, I believe I found a new
passion subtitle translation.

I’ve always been curious about the world,
about different cultures, people, and topics, and that was one of the reasons I
enjoyed working as an interpreter/translator because I was able to work on
various topics.

Nowadays, with the audiovisual media
taking up a considerable portion of our communications and knowledge transfer,
I find rendering an accurate translation of online materials is crucial in
helping people from different language backgrounds understand each other.

Through the work experience I have
accrued, I believe I can offer the highest quality subtitle translation services
to my clients. I look forward to working on meaningful contents and engage in
