As my family immigrated to the United States when I
was 10 years old, I naturally acquired the English language through formal
schooling and became a fluent bilingual. I am very thankful that I was introduced
into the new language and culture at such an opportune age. I’ve always felt
confident in my linguistic abilities throughout my life and haven’t met too
many people who could articulate both Korean and English at my level. I majored
in linguistics and taught English in Korea for a few years before working for a
translation company and becoming a professional translator.  I have over 11 years of translation and
interpretation experience spanning across many areas.
